AIR #2 December Holiday Project

It is time for my theme tutorial as an Artist in Residence for IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko®- this month the theme is - can you guess it - Holidays - and at this time of the year it just has to be Christmas for me.

I have used some of the fabulous IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko products to create a Nostalgic Christmas Ornament.

  • IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Delicata™ Pigment Ink in Golden Glitz;  StazOn® Solvent Inks in Olive Green; Brilliance™ Pigment Ink in Galaxy Gold; IMAGINE Crafts® GooseBumps™ Texture Spray; Sponge Daubers™; Jumbo Daubers™; Monterey Pine -  Star
Preferred Promotional Partners:

Other:
Want2Scrap© - Baby Bling - red; Liquid Glue; Sanding Block; Recycled Vintage Button

Step 1: Cut/emboss two (2) Delightful Circles using white card.

Step 2: Sponge around the inside and outside edges of both Delightful Circles using Delicata Pigment Ink in Golden Glitz and a Jumbo Dauber.

Step 3:  Sponge the lace pattern using StazOn Solvent Inks in Olive Green using a Sponge Dauber.  Repeat the layers until you get the depth of green you are wanting.

Step 4:  Add Baby Bling to as shown in the photo below.

Step 5: Repeat for the second Delightful Circles

Step 6: Sponge Monterey Pine Star using Brilliance™ Pigment Ink in Galaxy Gold using a Jumbo Dauber

Step 7:  Drill a small hole in the top point of the Monterey Pine Star

Step 8: Add small jewelery link

Step 9:  Thread through narrow ribbon

Step 10: Remove shank off the back of a recycled button and adhere to the front of the star.

Step 11: Using Glue Dots, adhere the ribbon across the centre of one of the Delightful Circles

Step 12: Line up and adhere the second Delightful Circles on the top.  Adhere sentiment across the middle of the ornament.

Step 13:  Cut/emboss  one (1) Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® flower using #1 #2 #3 #4 Flower Dies, in Authentique Paper and two (2) leaves in green card.

Step 14: Lightly sand the leaves using a Sanding Block and apply Goosebumps.

Step 15:  Lightly Sand the Flower Petals and layer the flower using liquid glue.

Step 16:  Adhere to the top of the 'wreath' using Liquid Glue

Step 17: Adhere bling to the center of the flower

Step 18: Pop leaves under the Poinsettia and adhere with Liquid Glue.

I hope you are feeling a little bit nostalgic and feel inspired to create your own Christmas Ornaments and Decorations - 'Art from the Heart' creating a beautiful legacy for your family.
