You are my Sunshine

Hello friends, I hope you are enjoying your weekend, it has been lovely here with the warmer weather and a BBQ with some of the family!!  I am also relieved to say that after a month with the flu I am starting to feel human again - you have to love that...and there is always time for 'just one card' wink:wink!!

For my card font I have embossed pink card stock created using the Framed Labels Eighteen Spellbinders® 3D M-Bossabilities™ folder and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6".

The Fiskars image is stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Teal Zeal and has been cut out by hand - fussy cut as some would say.  The image has then been popped up on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares; foam tape onto the the Nestabilities Oval Bliss Etched Dies using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6".

The Penny Black Inc. sentiment has also been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Teal Zeal, layered onto a slightly larger white layered and popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L 3D Foam Squares. Want2Scrap bling has been added to each end of the layered sentiment and lace adhered under the sentiment using Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L EZ Permanent Adhesive.

Purrfect Snapshot Smile

Hello friends - today's card is a little whimsical using a cat image I purchased in a set  a long time ago - I love cats and could not resist them - they will be appearing on a few cards from time to time.

I have used the Spellbinders Donna Salazar Designs Chicken Wire Em-bossing Folder to emboss the pink background and sponged it using Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko Memento ink in London Fog.

The embossed circle is from the Spellbinders Laced with Love Blooming Collection.   Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner and 3D Foam Squares have been used on this card.

Hello friends, I am sorting through my older Blog Posts and have com across this card that I have not posted - infact I believe the Dies used have been discontinued - but they are so pretty I could not resist sharing the card.

The core Die for the whole card is the Spellbinders Labels One - infact this was the first Die I ever owned and is still a favourite.  This has been cut /embossed using the Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing Machine

Golden Circle

Hello Blog Friends, I have a quick post today - sharing a card I created using some of the Die Cuts I have gathering - some of them are discontinued but they are still lovely - don't you think.  I have a drawer I keep my discontinued Dies in - so I can use them from time to time.

I have used the Delightful Circles Spellbinders® Nestabilities Decorative Elements, Standard Circles SML and a stamped flower from my stash.  The paper is from my stash and I believe it is from Stampin' Up! and is retired.  The gorgeous sheer Ribbon is from May Arts.   Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner and 3D Foam Squares have been used on this card and the bling is from  Want2Scrap.

Love Vines Heart

Hello friends - it is fast approaching Valentines Day - time to share a card using a heart - not that we specifically celebrate Valentines Day - we show our love every day of the year - but it is a fun day and one that is important to so many people...

I have used a Spellbinders Heart Die that has been adhere to a Scalloped Heart in white cardstock.  This in-turn has been popped up onto an Elegant Ovals Nestabilities.  Torn paper had been added across the oval and adds an extra touch with the texture.  This is a great opportunity to use those pretty little pieces of patterned paper we just can't part with - or is that just me!?!? LOL! I believe this strip could be a retired Stampin Up! paper.  The underneath Oval is from Authentique Paper - from the Glistening Collection.

My card is held together by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L - my 'go to' adhesive.  The Beautiful Bling Border and turquoise pearls are from Want2Scrap.

This card is linked to the following challenges:
