Life is Short - Wear the Shoes

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a pile of Spellbinders die cuts that gather on my desk - when I cut/emboss a die I usually run off a few, it makes it quick and easy when you are in a hurry - I am digging into this pile every now and then to create a project using nothing but these - and this is what I have for you today - not too shabby!? Wink:wink!

Cut/emboss two (2) Shapeabilities Amazing Paper Grace Becca Feeken Arched Swallowtail Pennants Etched Dies #5 (#1 being the smallest) using white cardstock.  Score one at 1.5cm and fold forward, add double sided tape to the folded flap; adhere other - making sure to line up the edges, to form card base. Cut/emboss one (1) Shapeabilities Amazing Paper Grace Becca Feeken Arched Swallowtail Pennants Etched Dies #4 (#1 being the smallest) using patterned paper, lightly sand around the edges using a sanding block. Adhere to the card base using double sided tape.

Cut/emboss one (1) Shapeabilities Amazing Paper Grace Becca Feeken Decorative Swallowtail Tags Etched Dies #4 (#1 being the smallest) using white card stock. Cut/emboss all of the pieces from the Shapeabilities Amazing Paper Grace Becca Feeken Ladies Shoe Etched Dies using pink card stock.  Fold the top of the shoe forward at toe score line.  Sponge the shoe insert using Imagine VersaMagic Ink in Petal Pink while still in the die; remove and adhere to shoe base.  Adhere the shoe top folding both outer pieces under the sole – allow to dry.  Curve the bow ends towards the back gluing near the centre, making sure bow tips peek out either side.  Adhere small Mulberry Rose.

Adhere the shoe to the Decorative Swallowtail, pop up on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares for dimension.  Add Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse on either side of the shoe and a large White Pearl to the filigree top of the Arched Swallowtail Pennant. A sentiment tag has been added to the right side of the shoe.

Spellbinders Bundle of Joy Card

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping in.  I am happy to share a card with you today that is showcasing two of the new Spellbinders new range of 3D Vignettes Die Collection by Amazing Paper Grace

The 3D Vignette Dies are amazing to work with - and suitable for every level, from beginner to advanced.  I have created a simple card using a set of two ‘Layering’ dies which can be used as inserts or used on their own in regular cards.

The card front has been cut/embossed using the Shapeabilities Grand Arch 3D Card Etched Dies Elegant 3D Vignettes by Becca Feeken and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine; using both the Grand Arch Outline and the Grand Arch Inlay together. I have used Kaisercraft patterned paper. The tabs have been trimmed off carefully, even with the sides of the Die Cut. This has been adhered to a slightly larger white pre-cut card base using Strong Tape.

The Stork layer has been cut/embossed using the Shapeabilities Layered Bundle of Joy Etched Dies Elegant 3D Vignettes by Becca Feeken using both the Outline Arch and the Stork and white card stock.  The stomach of the stork gas been sponged using Imagine Memento Luxe Ink in Rose Bud  before the die has been removed.

The Arch has been cut/embossed using the Shapeabilities Layered Bundle of Joy Etched Dies Elegant 3D Vignettes by Becca Feeken using the Outline Arch only and pink card stock. Adhere this behind the Die Cut Stork layer using glue.

The Bag has been cut using pale yellow card stock and sponged using Imagine Memento Ink in Dandelion before the die has been removed.  It has then been layered onto the white layer.  The layered Arch has been popped up onto the arch on the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Stamp the sentiment onto white card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black Ink.  Cut/emboss the sentiment using the Sentiment Label from the Grand Arch 3D Card Etched Dies sponging using Imagine Memento Ink in Dandelion before the die has been removed.

Cut/emboss the baby feet using pink card stock and adhere to the left side of the sentiment using tweezers and a Glue Pen.  NOTE: The little toe has been added using a pink pen. Pop this up along the base of the arch using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

A double Primrose Seam Binding Bow has been adhered above the Arch and a Mulberry Paper flower glued to the knot and Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse - LeCreme has been trimmed and added to each side of the bow. Want2Scrap 250 Count - White Pearls have been added along the lower patterned edge of the Grand Arch 3D Card Etched Die layer.

A Touch of Nostalgia with Vintage Ladies

Hello friends, I am sharing a nostalgic card today - these gorgeous ladies from Graphic 45 have been sitting on my desk way too long and just had to be added to a card - I love this era and how elegant these ladies are.

The card front has been created using Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace A2 Filigree Delight Card Creator Etched Dies.  This has been cut/embossed using the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" and adhered onto a pre-cut card base.  Corrugated card has been sponged using Imagine Ink Memento Luxe Ink in Rose Bud with a layer of Wedding Dress added.

The Vintage ladies have been popped up using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares; a row of vintage lace has been adhered along the base of the image using liquid glue with an embellishment from my stash added on the left of the lace.  Want2Scrap White Pearls have been added along the lace. and the top of the corrugated card.

Upcycled Birthday Roses

Hello friends, today I am slipping in a little bit of recycling - these beautiful roses are too beautiful to sit in a drawer unseen and makes a very pretty feature for a card.

I have cut out the roses using the Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles Die and lightly sanded the edges to add a distressed look - a favourite with me,

The smallest Die from the Die D-Lites Corners & Accents One has been adhered to the left hand corrners using liquid glue.  This has then been popped up onto the Amazing Paper Grace A2 Filigree Delight Card Creator - this has been backed using white card stock to highlight the beautigul filigree details. The layered rcycled image has been popped up using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares and a computer generated sentiment adhered to the lower right hand corner of the imageFinishing off with Want2Scrap pink pearls.  Nice and easy and so worth recycling - don't you think!

Spellbinders Stack and Fan Flower

Hello friends, I hope you are all doing well - thank you for stopping my and welcome to my new followers - I hope you enjoy your visits - I love to read your comments - each one is appreciated!  Today's card has been created using old and new Spellbinders Dies - I love the way they all work together so beautifully - there are endless possibilities.

The patterned paper is from Stampin' Up! retired I believe.  I have cut/embossed the  Royal Circle Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Decorative Elements using white cardstock. The die has been used as a stencil, sponging the inside using Imagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko Memento Ink in Rhubarb Stalk.  This is followed by a white circle cut/embossed using Standard Circles LG and is popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares. All of my Dies have been cut using the Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

The fabulous flower is from Stack and Fan Flower designed by Licensed Designer Becca Feeken - NOTE: You can see a video tutorial for the Stack and Fan Flowers  HERE.  I have used the largest Scalloped petal, again using the Die as a stencil using VersaColor Ink in Petal Pink.   My card is held together by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L - my 'go to' adhesive.  The beautiful bling is from Want2Scrap
