Hello Blog friends, time goes so quickly between posts and this one is a little overdue...real life needs me to visit every now and then - know what I mean! LOL! I am sure you do!!

The  background has been created using DCWV® paper, embossed using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine and Dotted Flowers  Spellbinders® M-Bossabilities™ folder.  The fabulous Gold Majesty Circles Spellbinders® Imperial Gold die - you can see why it is so popular can't you!?  

The image is from a retired stamp set, designed by my dear friend Nina Brackett 

It has been stamped using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink in Rich Cocoa and cut out using Labels Eight  Spellbinders® Nestabilities.  The sentiment is from SRM Stickers.  I have used Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L- E-Z Runner and 3D Foam Squares.

Lots of embellishments from my desk always add to the feel of  a shabby/nostalgic card - love that little tape measure!  The pearls are from and Want2Scrap©

Lots of layers and details - all in the name of cleaning my desk - but to be quite honest, it has made no difference! LOL!

Two Hearts

I have a quick post to share with you today, but it is a sweet one - don't you think!? I created this card from the every growing pile of things on my desk.

 The hearts have been cut/embossed using the Lace Hearts Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® and Classic Heart Nestabilities®. The Dies have been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine.

The bird image is from Crafty Secrets - Birds and Blossoms Creative Scraps and has been cut using the Standard Circles SM Spellbinders® Nestabilities and layered using Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares.

The Curved Borders Two Spellbinders® Borderabilities® Card Creator  has been added under the ribbon. The bling is from  Want2Scrap©

Penny Black - Smile

Hello Blog Friends, I have a bright and cheerful card for you today - as our temperatures drop in the Southern Hemisphere, I thought it would be nice to remember the warm summer days in the garden.

I have used the Penny Black Inc - kisses in the sun image.  This has been stamped onto white card  using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaFine™ Archival Pigment Ink in Onyx Black and cut out using the Spellbinders® Grand Calibur® Machine and the Labels Twenty-Nine Spellbinders® Nestabilities®.

A second image has been stamped and the butterfly cut out by hand, then coloured using

IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Radiant Neons™ in Electric Yellow, Electric Pink and Electric Coral.  The remaining image has been coloured using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink.

The sentiment is from the edge to edge transparent set by Penny Black Inc and has been popped up on I have used Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L- 3D Foam Squares.  The background paper is from Authentique Paper and the bling from Want2Scrap©

Trendy Flowers

Today's project is a little more on the nostalgic side, but if you know me, you know I love that!  I have kept the colours soft and the inking light to keep things just a touch shabby too!

The hand cut image is layered onto Labels Seventeen Spellbinders® Nestabilities®, that have been embossed using the So Trendy Spellbinders® M-Bossabilities™ folder, using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine.  The Authentique Paper has also been embossed using the
So Trendy Spellbinders® M-Bossabilities™ folder.  The edge of the card base has been cut using the
On The Edge Spellbinders® Shapeabilities®

Want2Scrap© bling has been  added to a doily, I have also used Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L- E-Z Runner and 3D Foam Squares.  A Seam Binding Bow, recycled button and bling finish off the card.

One of a Kind

Hi Blog Friends, my posts have been slower as I have been away in New Zealand to celebrate my Mother's birthday - it was wonderful being with my siblings and family, but I do love coming home to my family here...I have the best of both worlds.

Penny Black - Many Thanks

Hello Blog Friends, it has been a little while since I have shared a post - that is due to me being in New Zealand for my Mother's birthday and a family reunion - each day has been full and packed with family, which is wonderful.
