Medialion Motif

Hello Blog Friends, thank you for all of the visits you pay me and the comments you leave - I do love to know you have been and I hope along the way you are inspired in some way!

Some of the things that gather on my desk can make a card come together so easily - well, that is the way I justify not having a clear desk! LOL! This is one of those cards - everything on it has been left over from previous projects and I love that - don't you!?

The flowers are older ones from my stash - from before I discovered dimension (LOL) I believe they are by KaiserCraft.  The centre die is the Medallion Nine Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® Die D-Lites™.  I have used the inner filigree die and cut the outside using Standard Circles LG Spellbinders® Nestabilities®. This has been layered onto the Labels One Nestabilities®.  My Dies have been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine.

The beautiful bling is from Want2Scrap. I have also used  Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Runner on this card.

This card is for the following challenges:
A Creative Romance - Anything Goes
4 Krafty Girlz - Anything Goes
WordArt Wednesdays - Anything goes

In the Pink - Sparkle and Bling (in PINK of course)
Cuttlebug Mania - Anything Die Cut
Cards Galore Encore - MAKE A CARD!
Crafting Musketeers - Use Buttons
The Sisters of Craft - Anything Goes
The Vintage Challenge - At least 3 layers

Thank you for your comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day! God bless you!

Hello Blog Friends, thank you for visiting my Blog, I always love to see you have been!

I have a monochromic card to share today, as much as I love colour, there is something about layers and shades of the one colour that draws me eye every time.

The precut imagine and sentiment are from Kaisercraft and has been layered into the Gold Majesty Circles Spellbinders® Imperial Gold die template, using Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares.

The Gold Majesty Circles Die has been layered onto white card that has been embossed using the Cabbage Roses Spellbinder® M-Bossabilities™ folder.  Die cutting and embossing has been
done on the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine.

The edges of the embossed card have been sponged using Imagine Crafts®/ Tsukineko®  VersaFine™ Archival Pigment Ink in Vintage Sepia.  The bling is from Want2Scrap.

Art is You Australian Mixed Media Roadshow - the Art

I have been busy catching up on a lot of things since coming back from the Art is You Australian Mixed Media Roadshow - but most of all catching up with family and friends.  One of the most common questions I have been asked is what did I do?  A good question and one I can best answer you by showing you....

When I was invited to be on the faculty for the Art is You Australian Mixed Media Roadshow, I have to say it was both exciting and daunting....but I was quickly put at ease by Sallianne when she told me that she did not want me to reinvent the wheel...but to bring what I do to Art is You....

Tags - each one full of techniques

A handmade box to store them - again with different techniques

I have learned that once you learn a technique, you can use it on any medium - there are no limits, except those we set ourselves.  Don't be fooled by the tags - they took quite sometime to create - as those attending the Workshops will tell you...and the box...yes...lots more time - it was a 6 hour Workshop and we used every minute - but did manage to include lots of laughter!

A big THANK YOU to my generous sponsors

It would not be a Workshop of mine without some gorgeous Want2Scrap bling

Along with running my Workshops on Saturdays and Sundays, I helped with the administration in a number of ways - it was all go from dawn to dusk....and totally amazing.

I do have to add, it is impossible to put into words an experience like Art is You - it is a total experience and life changing.  You cannot help but be inspired on many levels, moved by the love that encompasses the whole Retreat and the friendships that are formed - connections that will last a lifetime and enrich your life in ways you never imagined.

Thank you for your comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day! God bless you!

Green Butterfly

Hello Blog Friends, I have to start by saying I am sorry for the lack of posts over the past three weeks - I had every intention of posting regularly from the Art is You Australian Mixed Media Roadshow,  but in all honesty the access to Wifi was intermittent and things were very 'full on'!  I will be doing more posts sharing some of the art and more....in the meantime I have a card to share with you!
