Flourishes lc - Blessings

Hello everyone - I hope you are having a blessed Easter Weekend-it is a double celebration for us - our youngest had her 19th birthday yesterday and it was a blessing to have such a wonderful time with the family - celebrating.  Today we got together for an Easter Egg Hunt with our grandson and to celebrate Easter Sunday and all that it means to us as Christians -the sentiment from the  Flourishes lc set called My Cup Overflows illustrated by Lauren Pope; could not be more perfect - I am so blessed! 


The image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  It has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors popped up;using 3D Foam Squares onto the Spellbinders Nestabilities Heart and Home Circle Delight Etched Dies

The patterned paper has been cut into squares and layered onto recycled cardboard, cut to size using a Matting Die.  Each of the squares has been paper pierced by hand.  This has all been adhered to a pre-cut card base using Adhesive Sheets 4 x6 prior to cutting. A row of pink seam binding has been pleated onto the lower portion of the card front, a double seam binding bow has been adhered to the lower left hand side of the Die using liquid glue, finishing off by adding a Want2Scrap pearl to the centre and to the corners of the card front.

Spellbinders Flower Swag 3 and Doilies Tutorial

Hello friends, today I am sharing a Spellbinders Tutorial for you using one of the gorgeous stamps by Licensed Designer Tammy Tutterow.  I am loving the variety of stamps available at Spellbinders - and so many Dies to combine them with - creative Heaven!!


Spellbinders Products
    Other : Liquid Glue; Chameleon PensScrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner, 3D Foam Squares; Coral and white card stock; Want2Scrap: Baby Bling - Pink Pearls - Self Adhesive; Imagine: Delicata in Golden Glitz Ink, Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves;  Yellow Seam Binding; button; twine; scrap of patterned paper; green patterened paper; sanding block; computer generated sentiment.

1. Stamp the Flower Swag 3 Happy Grams By Tammy Tutterow using Black ink.
2. Colour using Chameleon Pens.
3. Cut/emboss using the Amazing Paper Grace Arched Elegance Etched Dies and white card stock.
4. Use the Die as a stencil, sponging the inside using Golden Glitz Ink.

5. Cut/emboss one Ornamental Doily using white card stock
6. Use the Die as a stencil, sponging the Filigree edges using Bamboo Leaves Ink.
7. Cut/emboss white card stock using A2 Matting Basics A, making sure the fold is inside the cutting edge of the Die to form card base.
8. Cut/emboss the patterned paper using a slightly smaller Spellbinders A-2 Matting Basics A.
9. Lightly sand around the edges with a sanding block.
10. Pop the patterned paper up onto the card base using 3D Foam Squares.
11. Cut the Ornamental Doily in half.
12. Adhere the Ornamental Doily onto the centre of the left side of the card using double sided tape.
13. Pop up the Stamped image onto the Ornamental Doily using 3D Foam Squares.
14. Glue the sentiment onto the lower right corner of the layered card base.
15. Adhere Baby Bling Pink Pearls around the Ornamental Doily.

Flourishes lc - Wonderful

Hello everyone -  I am really enjoying the new stamp sets from the Flourishes LC March New Release Today I am sharing a card using the Easter Bunnies illustrated by Lauren Pope - such an adorable stamp set...it is not just for Easter - a BABY card works well too.


The image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens the female rabbit and has been fussy cut/ hand cut using scissors and layered onto a Tailor-Made Classic Keyhole Die Set . The Die has been used as a Stencil, sponging inside the Dies using Angel Pink ink and a Sponge Dauber and popped up using 3D Foam Squares onto a layer of card stock that has been embossed using the Spellbinders Dotted Flowers      Embossing Folder. A strip of narrow green Seam Binding added down the centre.


The sentiment has been stamped using Tuxedo Black Ink and cut/embossed using the Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass Die Set. The Die has been used as a Stencil, sponged using Imagine Memento Angel Pink ink and a Sponge Dauber.  It is then popped up onto the layered image using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.


A green double seam binding bow has been adhered above the Die cut and beautiful Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse white pearls have been adhered from under the bow and onto the Die cut.  Finishing with a single small pearl either side of the sentiment.

Flourishes lc - Camellia Card

Hello friends - another week has gone by - it is Sunday evening and autumn has arrived with cooler temperatures - we have even resorted to using the heater a couple of times.  It is perfect weather for spending time in The Studio and creating - mind you I can say that if any weather - LOL!


The Camellia image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink  and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  It has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares onto the Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass Die Set.  The Die has been used as a stencil, sponging inside the edges using Angel Pink Ink and a sponge dauber.  This in turn has been layered onto the patterned card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  


Light green narrow ribbon has been randomly pleated under the image onto double sided tape.  A double bow and vintage button have been adhered to the left side of the ribbon. This is now popped up onto Authentique Paper and all of the layers onto the frame from Spellbinders Romantic Roses . The layered card front is adhered to a pre-cut white card base.

Flourishes lc - March/April New Release Day 6 - Easter Bunnies

Hello friends, welcome to Day 6  Flourishes LC March/April New Release.  We have some wonderful Eye Candy to share with you this week. Today we are showcasing the wonderful  Easter Bunnies stamp set illustrated by Lauren Pope.



The image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  It has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares onto a Pierced Rectangle that has been lightly sanded to add a slightly distressed look.


  This has been popped up onto Die Cut patterned paper with a narrow strip of card stock added across the centre.



 A double seam Binding bow adhered to the left side of the image, finishing with a filigree button. The layers have been popped up onto a pre-cut white card base.

Flourishes LC March/April New Release - Day 5 So this is Easter

Hello friends, welcome to Day 5 of the Flourishes LC March/April  New Release.  How are you liking the new stamp sets so far - beautiful aren't they. We have some more sets to share with you this week. Today we are showcasing the wonderful So this is Easter stamp set illustrated by Lauren Pope - what a Spectacular Rooster - this image is not limited to Easter -looking forward to more creating with him.




The Rooster image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  It has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares onto a Classic Oval that has had torn and sponged green card stock adhered to the lower portion and sky sponged above the torn paper.


The sentiment banner has also been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink .  It has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares above the image...and that cute little chick - comes with the set too!!


  This has been popped up onto Die Cut patterned paper with narrow seam binding added across the centre and a button adhered to the left side of the oval. The layers have been popped up onto a pre-cut white card base.

Flourishes lc - March/April New Release Day 4 - Christ is Risen

Hello friends, welcome to Day 4 of the Flourishes LC March/April New Release.   The Senior Designers and Friends of Flourishes have some more fabulous inspiration to share with you and today we are showcasing the He has Risen stamp set.  I always love to see a faith inspired stamp set - especially at such a time as Easter - He is Risen indeed!!









The cross image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  It has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and popped up onto a Die cut using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares and onto Classic White card stock  that has been stamped using Tartan Plaid Background stamp and a Kaleidacolor Ink.

The sentiment banner has also been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink .  It has been cut/embossed using the tag from the Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass Die   popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares to the right of the Cross.


The layers have been popped up onto a pre-cut Kraft card base that has been cut slightly larger than the stamped layer.

Flourishes lc March/April New Release - Day 3 Vintage Easter

Hello friends, welcome to Day 3 of the Flourishes LC March/April New Release.   The Senior Designers and Friends of Flourishes have some fabulous inspiration to share with you this week. Today we are showcasing the adorable Vintage Easter stamp set.









The basket and the chick have been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  They have been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and popped up onto a  Tailor-Made Classic Keyhole Die Set .  The Die has been used as a Stencil, sponging Delicata in Golden Glitz and a Sponge Dauber. using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.
