I have been sitting here wondering what to show you as I have 24 posts in draft (as you do! LOL) - and then I realised I have not shown you one of my favourite projects
I created this sometime ago...in reality it was probably March - my friend Deb gave me some adorable glass bottles for my birthday and I was inspired to alter them
The border is created using the Spellbinders Floral Doily Motif Die using some gold DP I had stored away, after cutting it and embossing with the Spellbinders Grand Calibur, I sponged it lightly with Tsukineko StazOn - to give it that tarnished look - hard to believe it is paper isn't it - BTW - I have since discovered the Spellbinders Premium Craft Foils
A vintage button with the shank removed has been glued to the cork
The Medallion is part of an amazing RAK from my dear friend Gunn - I have saved this flower for months - I believe it may be a Tim Holtz embellishment.
and one of the birds from the Layers of Color Backyard Birds clear art stamp set has been stamped with Tsukineko Versafine Onyx Back Ink and coloured with Prismacolor Pencils, using Odourless Mineral Spirits and a clear glass small 'dome' has been added over it.
I have two more bottles to alter and will be back to share them when they are done!
