It feels like forever since I have coloured an image - colouring is so soothing - don't you think! I found this Penny Black image I was sent my someone about two years ago and thought it was time I coloured it (LOL!)
I have coloured the image using Prismacolor Pencils and Odourless Mineral Spirits. It has then been cut out using Spellbinders Labels Eighteen and then popped up onto a Spellbinders Labels Twenty Die. All does have been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur.
The image has been sponged around while still in the Labels Eighteen Die, creating a mask and giving a crisp white frame.
The flower is handmade by my friend Maxine and has been attached to a Seam Binding bow using a jewelled brad. The bow is layered onto Seam Binding and lace.
Finishing off with some Want2Scrap Pearls.
