International Ambassadors Unofficial Tags Blog Hop

Hello everyone - a very warm welcome to the International Ambassadors Unofficial Tag Blog Hop.  As always a BIG thank you to those who Hop along with us each month and leave a comment - we really appreciate you joining in with us.  This month's Hop  is all about tags  I hope you can hop along with us and see what each of the International Ambassadors has for you!



Spellbinders Products:

Other : Liquid Glue;  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner, 3D Foam Squares; Want2Scrap:  Swirls Finesse - White - Self Adhesive; Imagine Crafts:  Delicata in Golden Glitz, Sponge Daubers; Graphic 45: patterned paper; Kaisercraft: Lace; Black cardstock; Resin Embellishment




1. Cut/emboss one (1) Art Deco Astoria Decorative Elements using white cardstock.
2. Use Tool'n One to remove the excess pieces.
3. Use Die as a stencil and sponge around the inside edges using Golden Glitz Ink and a sponge dauber.


4.Cut/emboss one Art Deco Astoria Labels #  (#1 being the smallest) using black cardstock.
5. Adhere the Die-cut Decorative Elements to the Astoria Labels using liquid glue.
6. Handcut flowers from patterned paper, adhere to tag base using double sided tape along the base and the sides.
7. Adhere to tag - creating a 'hidden' pocket.  Adhere lace below the flowers.
8. Cut image from patterned paper and tuck into the pocket, securing with double sided tape.













9. Cut/emboss one Shortie Tabs using Black cardstock.
10. Hand-cut sentiment from patterned paper and adhere to right side of the Shortie Tab.
11. Fold on scoreline and adhere to the tag using double sided tape.
12.  Adhere Swirls Finesse to the top of the tag.
13. Attach Resin flowers using liquid glue.
14.  Adhere pearls along the lace.

Spellbinders Fairmont Frame Tutorial

Hello friends, my Spellbinders Tutorial today has given me the opportunity to use two fabulous products from the Art Deco Collection -how dramatic are the Art Deco Dies - just beautiful and certainly make a statement - then add the texture - perfection! 


Spellbinders® Texture Plates embosses to bring beautiful textures to your surfaces. These plates are made out of metal and can emboss various materials from paper to leather to plastic. Designed with classic Art Deco motif in mind by Stacey Caron.
Spellbinders Products:
Other: Liquid Glue;  Want2Scrap:  72 Count - White Pearls - Self AdhesiveImagine Crafts 'featuring' Tsukineko: Delicata in Golden Glitz, Sponge Dauber; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner, 3D Foam Squares;  Velvet Flowers; Stamped image; lace; braid


1. Cut Captivating Coral Paper to size (3.75' x 5.75").
Please note that the texture plate is not meant to cut a shape out of your paper.
2. Emboss using the Deco Chevron Texture Plate.

 HOW TO USE: Position your 5 x 7 in. paper over the texture plate and use the standard embossing sandwich with your Platinum Machine. 

3. Cut/emboss Fairmont Decorative Accent #1 #2 (#1 being the smallest) using Gold cardstock to create a frame - put #1 Diecut aside for a future project.
4. Adhere to coloured image using 3D Foam Squares.
5. Using a sponge Dauber and Golden Glitz Ink sponge across the lower portion of the textured card.
6. Add lace followed by the braid.
7. Adhere velvet flowers and leaves on 3D Foam Squares.
8. Adhere pearls below the lace, alternating small and large pearls.

Spellbinders Art Deco Tutorial Sneak Peek

Hello friends,  I am a few days later with this sneak peek - due to being away at a Scrapbooking Retreat - but hopefully it is a case of better late then never!  I am excited to have a Tutorial on the Spellbinders Blog - using some of the divine Art Deco Dies by Licensed Designer Stacey Caron


I love these Dies, Stacey describes her design style as 'innovative designs and product lines. Her innovative design style is timeless with an old world flare' and they are certainly that.. and more!! I love to use them in a classic and sometimes shabby way. You can see it HERE:

International Ambassadors Unofficial Art Deco Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the International Ambassadors Unofficial Art Deco Blog Hop - thank you to those who Hop along with us and leave a comment - we really appreciate you taking the time.  This month's Hop - as the name suggests is all about ART DECO - featuring the divine Dies by Stacey Caron.  I hope you can hop along with us and see what each of the Designers have created!


Spellbinders Products:
Other: Liquid Glue; patterned paper; black cardstock; recycled button; Red Seam Binding;  Red Sheer Ribbon; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner, 3D Foam Squares



1. Cut/emboss one (1) Art Deco Arched Diamond using Gold cardstock
2. Adhere to a strip of Black cardstock using double sided tape.

3. Cut card base in black cardstock - measuring 7 x 8.5 inches, score across the centre to give a card base measuring 7 x 4.25 inches.
4. Cut patterned paper slightly smaller - 6.75 x 4 inches, adhere to card base using Foam Tape.
5. Attach Seam Binding around the Die Cut Layer - securing on the back using liquid glue.
6. Adhere Die Cut layer to the centre of the card base using Foam Tape.
7. Adhere red chiffon to the left side of the card using liquid glue
8. Cut the shank of a vintage button and adhere using liquid glue.

Spellbinders Astoria Labels Valentines Card Turorial

Hello friends, I am excited to me sharing  my first post on the Spellbinders Blog for 2016.  My card today is created using the wonderful Art Deco Collection by Stacey Caron.  One of the things I enjoy about the Dies (and there are many) is the way they can be used with different styles - Art Deco meets Shabby Vintage and you can see the details in the Tutorial HERE
