Spellbinders Cheers - Wine Country Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a new tutorial for Spellbinders - sharing a card created using two sets of stamps and Dies from the Wine Country Collection by Licensed Designer Stacey Caron.  I have to say they are a great addition and make fabulous masculine cards as well as many others occasions.


'Wine Country Collection by Stacey Caron will make your projects the toast of any wine tasting, parties or gifts with coordinating motifs to create accents to charms to tags...such great fun!' - Spellbinders

1. Stamp the Cork image onto white card stock using Black Ink.
2. Sponge the image using brown ink and a sponge dauber.
3. Cut/emboss using the co-ordinating die.

4. Cut/emboss the patterned paper using the second largest A-2 Matting Basics A Die.
5. Lightly sand the embossed edges using a Sanding Block.

6. Cut/emboss the Cheers Sentiment 6 times using 3 different shades of cream to brown card stock.
7. Layer one sentiment on top of another Die cut sentiment in a different shade/colour, making sure the top one is slightly to the left to leave a shadow effect.  Repeat this to give you three sentiments.

8. Cut/emboss the Wine Barrel and the Wine Barrel Insert using Mulberry Paper.
9. Cut/emboss one Banner using Cream card stock.
10. Use the Die as a Stencil and sponge using brown ink and a Sponge Dauber.

11. Adhere the Wine Barrel to the top portion of the card front using double sided tape.
12. Pop up the Wine Barrel Insert inside the Wine Barrel Die cut using 3D Foam Squares.
13. Adhere the Banner across the centre of the Wine Barrel using a 3D Foam Squares at each end to keep it level with the Wine Barrel.
14. Adhere a Die Cut sentiment to each side of the Banner.
15. Pop up the Corks along the lower portion of the card front using 3D Foam Squares.
16. Pop up the card front to a slightly larger pre-cut cream card base.

Spellbinders Oh La La Eau de PerfumeTutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a tutorial for Spellbinders to share with you - using one of the beautiful Oh La La Collection by Licensed Designer Stacey CaronThis beautiful set of Dies is a great example of how Spellbinders Shapeabilities cut, deboss, emboss and stencil all with one die - and what a great effect. 


'The Ooh La La Collection by Stacey Caron has many elements that would be found if you were walking the streets of Paris - fleur de lis, scroll designs, flourish motifs and even the Eiffel Tower! Add them in your project for that French touch.' 

1. Cut/emboss one  Fleur de Circle Etched Dies from the Rouge Royale Deux Collection using cream card stock. 
2. Cut/emboss one each small and medium atomisers  from the Eau de Perfume Etched Dies Ooh La La Collection using pink card stock.
3.  Cut/emboss one perfume bottle from the Eau de Perfume Etched Dies Ooh La La Collection using both the bottle and the inset and cream card stock.

4. Using the Die as a stencil, sponge the exposed areas of the atomisers using Celestial Copper ink and the Tool 'n One with the Circle Foam Refill.
5. Using the Die as a stencil, sponge the exposed area of the perfume bottle using Vintage Sepia ink and the Tool 'n One with the Circle Foam Refill.

6. Use the card front as a template, drawing around and cutting two pieces using white card stock.
8. Score the top of one card base, folding forward, adhere double sided tape and attach the second piece to form card base.
9. Cut the Lovely Layers patterned paper the same size as the centre of the Rouge Royale Deux Collection.
10. Pop up onto the card front using 3D Foam Squares.
11. Adhere the two atomisers onto the card front using double sided tape, leaving a 2.5cm gap between.
12. Pop up the perfume bottle between the atomisers using 3D Foam Squares.
13. Adhere white pearls to the top and bottom of the Rouge Royale Deux frame.

Spelbinders Blessed Fall Card Tutorial

Hello everyone, I am sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders using one of the Die D-Lites and the new Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" Platform  I had a lot of fun creating this card and hope you like it too!
