Sunday means it is time for Stampin Sisters in Christ Challenge. We love seeing so many of you playing along with us and seeing your gorgeous cards - how inspiring you all are. There is such an array of divine vintage cards from last weeks challenge - it is fabulous to see!
This week the challenge is brought to us by our very dear Lisa , who has brought us the very well known
Psalm 23, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Lisa has challenged us to use the colors blue (still waters) and green (green pastures) in your cards/projects. What a pretty colour combination...
For my card I used the Layers of Color Floweret Cling Art Stamp
Along with the Happy Wishes art stamp set which has been cut out using my Spellbinders Grand Calibur and the Classic Oval Nestibilitie, layered onto the Labels 14 Nestie.
The top and bottom edges of the card have been stencilled with the Delicious Dots art stencil and Distressing Ink to give a lacy effect.
The butterflies are from Stampin' Up, thanks to my friend Ann and the use of her Die Cut - I love the texture on them!
