Spellbinders Mother's Day Easel Card

It is my turn to share the tutorial over at Spellbinders Paper Arts - this weeks it is all about Mum's.  I have shared a Step by Step Tutorial for this Mother's Day Easel card and would love you to pop over and check it out - perhaps leave a little 'love'!

Thank you so much for all of the encouragement you give and the lovely comments you leave me both here and on the Spellbinders Blog - I do leave comments back but they get caught up in the SPAM system - arghhhh!  We are working on that!!  God bless you!

Shabby Elegant Love

I have been on a 'Shabby/Nostalgic' card run over ythe last few days and wanted to share a card with you

using the 'Sent With Love' stamp set designed by Nina Brackett for The Craft's Meow

and the Lovely Labels 18 set , that coordinates with the Spellbinders Labels Eighteen Die, along with the coordinating Nestabling - now I have to say at this stage, I am loving NESTABLING from Want2Scrap, I am a 'pearl girl' anyway so it is an instant hit with me!

I have stamped the image twice, cutting it out using a Spellbinders Standard Circles SML Die.  The butterfly on the second image has been cut out, coloured with SU Chalks/Pastels and the wings popped up with some foam tape, for that added dimension.  3D Kindy Glitz has been added to give a little but if shimmer.

The DP is from KandCompany, one of my favourite DP's of all time, I use it sparingly! LOL!  A border from the Spellbinders Ironworks Accents Die has been added to the lower edge.  All of the Dies have been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur - my favourite cutting machine!

This card is for the following challenges:
Cards und More - Glisten & Sparkle
Celebrate the Occasion - Thinking Of You
Crafty Bloggers Network - "Shabby Chic
Creative Mondays - Anything Goes
Nettie G's Digital Gems - Anything Goes
Paper Creations Ink - Show Us Your Style Using Your Favorite Technique
Paper Pretties -  Spring

Thank you for visiting today - I always appreciate the time it has taken you to come and leave a comment - I read each one and you know I love to see you!  I hope you are having a great day and finding a little 'you' time!' God bless you!

Cute! Cute! Cute!

With New Zealand as my homeland, how could I resist this darling little hedgehog by Penny Black, especially when I won this set over a year ago in Pauline C's gorgeous Blog Candy.

After a very 'full on' week I decided to do some colouring as therapy.... using Stampin' Up Chalks/Pastels and a Blender Pen

Spellbinders Classic Circles LG and Lacey Circle Dies have been but with my Grand Calibur (love that Die Cutting Machine)

The sentiment is from a Clear Stamp set picked up at BigW and has been but using the Spellbinders  Grommet Tags Die.

The Embossing Folder is from Stampin' Up! and the flowers are some lace from my stash

Lots of dimension and summery-ness (LOL)
