Sparkle

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  Today I have a quick post to share - and that means a quick and easy card to share with you - what is not to love about this flying pig - I just love it and all the meaning that often comes with...'and pigs can fly!' 

I have used a printed image for the pig and coloured it using Chameleon Pens - there is a little sparkle added to the tips of the wings, hooves and snout but it was impossible to capture it -no matter how hard I tried - sorry!  The image has been fussy cut/hand cut out using scissors.

The background has been created by stamping a frame using an image and AALL & Create set by Tracy Evans -I love her stamps! It has been coloured using Chameleon Art Pens and the inside of the frame randomly sponged using Imagine Radiant Neon ink in Electric Pink, Electric Orange and Electric Yellow.  The card front has been embossed using the Spellbinders Seth Apter Em-bossing Fold'ers Lazer Beams 5 x 7 in Single Sided and popped up onto a slightly bigger pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The sentiment has been stamped onto white card stock using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. and cut/embossed using  Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Die using the Platinum Die Cutting Machine and popped up onto the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The flying pig has been popped up below the sentiment.

Spellbinders - You Brighten my Day

Hello friends!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend - it is COLD COLD COLD here and inside is the place to be!  Perhaps the weather is my inspiration for this card - hoping to see more sunshine - although I have to say the days have been beautiful once we recover from temps around -8 degrees Celsius overnight.

I have used the adorable Spellbinders Rise n Shine Dies from the 'My Little Red Wagon' Collection by Licensed Designer Debi Adams 

.

The sun has been cut/embossed using the Platinum 6, the circle being sponged using Imagine Radiant Neon inks in  Electric Orange and Electric Coral.  It has then been tucked in behind the computer generated sentiment.

The clouds have been trimmed and sponged around the edges using Imagine Memento Ink in Gray Flannel, to soften the edges and add a little hint of twilight.

The Row of Houses has been cut using black card stock and adhered using liquid glue to the base of the card front.  Random windows have been coloured using a Yellow Gel Pen and a little shimmer to the sky using liquid glitter - Kindy Glitz.

The patterned paper is from the free gift in Love Cardmaking #17 that is being released this month

Birthday Splash

Hello Blog Friends - it is a little bit of a change of pace for me - this 'splat' card is very far from my usual shabby/vintage style, but so much fun.

I have used the Splats - Dreamweaver Stencils along with IMAGINECrafts® Radiant Neon™ in Electric Pink, Electric Yellow and Electric Orange.  This has been cut/embossed using the A2 Curved Matting Basics Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator and the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine.

The final splatters are added using IMAGINECrafts® Fireworks!™ Craft Spray in Danube Blue.  Finishing with a flower, along with a sentiment from Penny Black Inc.   Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Runner have been used on this card.

Hello Friend

Today I have a quick card to share with you using a background stamp from from Viva Las VegaStamps! and IMAGINE Crafts  Radiant Neon Ink in Electric Pink.

The image has been cut/embossed using A2 Modern Stationary Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator using the  Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine.

The butterfly is one of my favourites and from the Penny Black Inc Social Butterfly clear stamp set and has been coloured using Radiant Neon in electric Pink and Electric Yellow.   The sentiment is from SRM Stickers.   Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Runner have been used on this card.  The bling is from Want2Scrap.

Just Because - Shells

Today's card is along a more casual line - clean cut but still very pretty - don't you think!?

 

I have used the Shell Beauty Spellbinders® 3D M-Bossabilities™ folder and the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine for the top embossed layer - this has then been inked using 
 IMAGINE Crafts® Radiant Neon™  Pigment Ink in Electric Blue.  The card base has been embossed using the Ornamental Iron Spellbinders® 3D M-Bossabilities™ folder

The sentiment is from SRM Stickers.   Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Runner have been used on this card.  The silver twine is from May Arts and the embellishment from my stash.

Say It with Roses

Roses - I love them, whether they are in the garden or a vase,

in a photo or a painting - I just love them! The Bed of Roses cling stamp from Penny Black Inc is a favourite of mine too!

I have stamped it using IMAGINE Crafts® Radiant Neon™ Pigment Ink in Electric Purple - we have a rose that is close to this colour called 'Shocking Blue' - the colour is divine and the perfume is amazing!!

The sentiment is also from Penny Black Inc. and has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® and Fancy Tags Three Shapeabilities®.  The co-ordinating Want2Scrap© Nestabling has been added along with some flowers from my stash.

Air #2 February - Radiant Neons Tutorial

This is my second Tutorial as a 2014 Artist in Residence for IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® - I am excited to be sharing some of the fabulous new Radiant Neon Inks with you - it is bright, lush and divine.  I love the way it is so easy to use, applies easily to card and blends beautifully.

The Radiant Neon Inks instantly take me to beautiful summer days - they have that wonderful glow about them - this was certainly my inspiration for this card - they have created a beautiful skyline for these birds. Radiant Neon -Peace on Earth

I am excited to be sharing a card today using the newly released Imagine Crafts® / Tsukineko™ Radiant Neons - they are amazing and so much fun to create with, along with Fireworks!™ Craft Spray in Angel Pink.

They teamed perfectly with a stamp I picked up for $3 to create a card with a 'retro' feel.

I also used Spellbinders®: Standard Circles SM Nestabilities and Grand Calibur® Machine,
