Tag You're It

I have been making a few quick cards over the past weeks and they don't get much quicker than this

The typewriter is on a tag already (see, I did say easy) and I added the tag to some DP after distressing around the edges

Adding a sentiment from the Sent With Love set illustrated by NinaB Designs for The Crafts Meow.

I cut the word TAG from the topper on the packet of tags (there are ten in a pack) and added it along with a recycled button

Finishing off with some vintage lace and black gems.  I am happy that even with lace the cards keep it's masculine feel

This card is for the following challenges:
Paper Take Weekly -Anything Goes
Crafty Cardmakers - Monochrome
Make it Monday - always Anything Goes
Smudgy Antics - Anything Goes
Drunken Stampers - Use Something New (Tag)
Catch The Bug - February Anything Goes
Do You Stack Up? - Anything goes

Thank you for your comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day! God bless you!

The Craft's Meow - Friend of Mine

I am honoured to be a Guest Designer for my SSIC Design Team Sister Lisa, who has opened her own store -  The Crafts Meow and am looking forward to using some of the New Release Sets illustrated by Nina Brackett for The Crafts Meow....

In the meantime, I wanted to share this card I created using the adorable little set Friend of Mine

I love the fonts and have stamped both the sentiment and the gorgeous butterfly with Tsukineko Versafine - fabulous ink to stamp with!

I have added some stencilling using the Layers of Color Belle Brocade art stencil and topped it with some cream Seam Binding - don't you just love that stuff!?!?

The tags have been sitting in a box of sentiments and images I have stamped off well over a year ago (yes I know - terrible! LOL) I have punched them with an EK Ticketed Punch and added some paper piercing.  This card is very eclectic and a lot of white for me, but I am enjoying the shabby/vintage feel of it!!

This card is for the following challenges:
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Tellen's Place - Anything Goes
Craft Us Crazy - Something New (Stamps) and /or favourite embellishment (pearls)
Crafts and Me - Anything Goes - Optional - Kraft
Creative Belli - Anything Starting with 'S'  (Seam Binding)
Make It Monday - Always Anything Goes
Scrappy Frogs - Anything Goes
Emerald Fairies - Anything Goes
Peartree Design - Stamped Image
Stamp Something - Anything Goes
Truly Scrumptious - Anything Goes
Diva's by Design - For the Girls

Thank you for visiting today - I always love to see you!  I hope you are having a great weekend - it is Saturday night here and we are chilling out watching a movie - well, I am listening to it!  LOL!  God bless you!

The Seam Binding has been hand dyed and crinkled by ME!!  I am loving Seam Binding and so very grateful to my DH who heard me talking about it with Nina B one night, so googled it and ordered me not one, not two but three rolls of it - I am keeping him, he is my biggest supporter and enabler!  LOL!
