John Next Door -Snowglobe

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you are have enjoyed your week!  I have been playing with the Snow Globe Die from John Lockwood aka John Next Door -and IT IS FABULOUS!!  It comes together easily and is very easy to made a Shaker Card - who doesn't love Snowglobes at Christmas!!

I have used the John Next Door Christmas 2019 - Snowglobe Die - the card base in cream and the card front in Gold card stock.  Acetate and white glitter have been used to create a Shaker card.

I have cut/embossed one JOHN NEXT DOOR  Christmas Dies - Holly Corner using matt gold card stock for contrast. The Holly Corner has been glued to the top of the Snowglobe.

The sentiment and tag are a little sneak peek of a set that is due for release at the end of August - I have used Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 6x4 Adhesive Sheets on my card stock, making it so easy to adhere the letters to the Tag.

The Reindeer are from the John Next Door Christmas Dies  - Deer Scenes and have been cut/embossed using Kraft card stock and adhered to the front of the Snow Globe using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

The Tag has been popped up onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Want2Scrap Orange Rhinestones have been adhered to each end of the tag.

I am really enjoying playing with the Happy Mail I got from John Lockwood aka John Next Door -and I have to say - they are wonderful to work with.

The background has been coloured sponging the patterned Mulberry Paper using Imagine Memento Ink in Blues and Purples.  The Die from the John Next Door Christmas Dies  - Deer Scenes has been cut/embossed twice using both Kraft and white card stock. The white die cut has been offset onto the Kraft die cut to create a shadow effect using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

The hill below the deer has been sponged using Imagine Memento Inks in Bamboo Leaves and sponge daubers. The Holly Corners have been sponged using Imagine Delicata ink in Golden Glitz and the berries in Rhubarb Stalk.  Next it has been glued along the top edge of the card front , Clear Gloss has been added to the Holly Berries.

John Next Door - Deer Scenes

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you are have enjoyed your week - it is Friday evening and very cool - temperature wise that is LOL! I am loving the heater atm!  I am really enjoying playing with the Happy Mail I got from John Lockwood aka John Next Door -and I have to say - they are wonderful to work with.

I have used a cream pre-cut triple fold window card for for this card front and base.  I started by sponging the centre using Imagine Memento Inks in Dandelion and Summer Sky.  The Die from the John Next Door Christmas Dies  - Deer Scenes has been cut/embossed using Kraft card stock and details sponged on using Imagine Memento Ink in Espresso Truffle and adhered to the inside of the Oval Aperture, using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

Next I have cut/embossed two of  the JOHN NEXT DOOR  Christmas Dies - Holly Corner using the inside of a recycled cereal box; the thickness is great for die cuts, and coloured the using Imagine Memento Inks in Bamboo Leaves and Rhubarb Stalk.centre.  The Holly Corners have been glued to the top and bottom of the Oval Aperture to create a frame, Clear Gloss has been added to the Holly Berries.

I have added random touches of white paint around the Holly Corner and also around the edges of the card front once it has been slightly sponged using Imagine Inks

The sentiment and tag are a little sneak peek of a set that is due for release at the end of August - I have used Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 6x4 Adhesive Sheets on my card stock, making it so easy to adhere the letters to the Tag.

The Tag has been popped up onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Finishing off with some light splatters of white paint.

Hello friends, welcome and thank you for stopping by. I hope you are enjoying your week.  I have been playing with the Happy Mail I received from from John Lockwood aka John Next Door -and I have to say - they are wonderful to work with.  Today I am sharing three cards created three different ways with the one die - I love to find more than one way to use something - how about you?!

Firstly I used the JOHN NEXT DOOR DIE Gerbera Collection -Lattice and die cut yellow card stock.  The centres have been sponged using Imagine Memento Ink in Rockmelon and white Want2Scrap Enamel Dots added to the centre of each flower.  Next it has been glued onto a teal card base, the same size.  The butterfly and sentiment are Kaisercraft Collectibles.

For the second card I used the JOHN NEXT DOOR DIE Gerbera Collection -Lattice die to emboss only  - this is done by placing the die face up, next the card stock, followed by the Tan Mat and Embossing Plate - such an effective way to use dies  The centres have been sponged using Imagine Memento Ink in Rockmelon and yellow Want2Scrap Faux Enamel Dots added to the centre of each flower.  Next it has been popped up onto a slightly larger white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Craft Foam Tape. The butterfly and sentiment are Kaisercraft Collectibles.

For the third card I have used the negative dies from the first card using JOHN NEXT DOOR DIE Gerbera Collection -Lattice Once removed from the Die they have been glued onto teal card stock to recreate the lattice effect and popped up onto an embossed card front.  Next the card front has been layered onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Craft Foam Tape. Want2Scrap Enamel Dots and Baby Bling have been added to the centre of each flower. A double teal Seam Binding Bow has been glued to the left side of the card front.
