Congratulations

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a pretty recycled card to share with you today, using part of a pretty box that was given to me by a friend - there are quite a few boxes and I have cut them all up ready to be reused and brought to life in  different way!  The colours on this one are so pretty with such a soft look.

I have used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Fancy Edged Rectangles Etched Dies and the  Platinum Die Cutting Machine to create a card front.  The delicate scallops on this Die, along with the paper piercing never fail to add such a pretty touch.  The card front has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut mauve card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Want2Scrap Scalloped Hearts in White Pearl have been adhered to the centre of the card front, inside the existing heart.  This is followed by a sticker that has been coated using Imagine irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher in Shimmer.

The sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Vintage Elegance Becca Feeken Giving Occasions Stamp and Die Set has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.  This has been trimmed and a 'dove tail' added on the right end.  Next it has been layered into slightly larger mauve card stock and popped up on the lower portion of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  A Mulberry Paper Rose has been glued to the left end of the sentiment.    Finishing by adhering Want2Scrap white pearls to each corner, along with small butterfly from my stash with a small white pearl in the centre - a little detail but a pretty one.

Spellbinders Flora and Fauna Cut and Emboss Folder

Hello friends, thanks so much for dropping in.   I am back playing with one of the new Spellbinders Cut and Emboss FoldersIt is no secret I am a big fan of these folders and I have to say I am loving these new ones and I know you will too. This one called Flora & Fauna Cut and Emboss Folder.

'Flora & Fauna Cut and Emboss Folder is an embossing folder with etched dies embedded inside to cut and emboss in one pass. Everything is done for you! Fits a 5 x 7-inch card front.' - Spellbinders

Cut/emboss the Flora & Fauna Cut and Emboss Folder using white card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6".

Sponge the embossed pattern using Imagine Radiant Neon inks in Electric yellow, Electric Blue, Electric Pink and Electric Orange, along with Memento Inks in Bamboo Leaves using Sponge Daubers.  The card front has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

I had a little 'opportunity for embellishment' while colouring the flowers - got a little carried away LOL so decided to adhere a 1cm strip of  blue patterned paper across the centre of the card front using double sided tape.

A pre-cut butterfly with co-ordinating bling has been glued at the body and added to the right side of the blue strip and a flower from  Little Birdie Crafts has been glued to the body of the butterfly.  A small piece of  Washi Tape has been added peeking out from under the top of the left wing.

Recycled Pastel Roses

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a recycled card to share with you today.  I have a friend who works in a Boutique and she saves me any novel boxes or anything she thinks I can use - she did well with this lots - there are about 2 dozen boxes and I have cut them all up ready to be reused and brought to life in  different way!

The box already had the beautiful embossed image with so many beautiful details and the gorgeous gold scalloped edge - I popped it up onto a shimmered card stock using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L Crafty Foam Tape - this has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut pink card base.

I have added a computer generated sentiment underneath the scalloped edge, along with some recycled layers from artificial flowers with Want2Scrap Pearls added to the centre of each flower. A butterfly from my stash has been coloured and popped up onto the card front using  Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L Small White 3D Foam Squares under the wings for some added dimension.

Extra details have been added to the wings using a White Gel Pen.  I t really did not need anything more - the beautiful dimension on the card front added so much, as you can see in the photo above.  Very easy but I am sure you will agree that the image is too pretty to discard,

Baby Album - The First Year

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a special post to share today - special to me that is.  I have finally finished the Scrapbook Album of my Grandson - it is from birth up to and including this first birthday party...we won't even mention that he is now 3 1/3 years old now - these things take time!! Wink:wink!

How Sweet are those images from Kaisercraft - Peek-a-Boo Boy Collectables - I could not resist them when I popped into the Outlet a little while ago and they make the perfect embellishments for the front of the Baby Album.

This is also for a challenge in a Group I am part of on facebook - Buttons, lace and Ribbons - I have got all that covered!  I have used the photo my DH created the Birth Announcement with an added a layer of Acetate over it to protect it.  This has been followed by a die cut frame using Spellbinders 5 x 7 Matting Basics A Card Creator Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.   The frame has been adhered using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

The embellishments have been popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares and the buttons, ribbon and lace adhered using liquid glue.  This was all the album front needed to finish it and make it special.  I am sure Noah and his parents are going to enjoy looking though it an the memories it brings - I love being a Memory Keeper.

Hugs and Kisses

Hello friends,  thanks so much for stopping by and for all of your lovely comments - each one is read and appreciated!   Seems a lot of people love the Shapeabilities Layered Tulip Etched Dies from the Indie Collection  I thought I would share another card created using them.  This time I have paired them with the Hugs Expressions Stamp and Die Set - Exclusive.

The Layered Tulips are cut/embossed from two shades of yellow card stock and adhered together with glue.  The shaded leaves have been created using two shades of card stock and have also been glued together.

For the card front I have cut/embossed white card stock using the largest die from the Amazing Paper Grace A2 Filigree Delight Card Creator Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.  The die cut card front base has been layered onto pale green card stock, followed by being popped up onto a pre-cut slightly larger green card base.using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.

All of the flowers are popped up off of my card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares, which also adds some dimension.

Finally, I added my sentiment onto the card, cutting the word “Hugs” from black card stock and the background Die in pale yellow.  The sentiment has been glued onto the background die, then popped that across the lower stems of the tulips using 3D Foam Squares at each end off the card with foam tape. The smaller sentiment is from the stamp set that goes with the Hello Expressions Stamp and Die Set. using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black Ink onto white card stock for this small greeting.  This has been trimmed and glued onto slightly larger card stock, then across the lower portion of the die-cut sentiment.

Hello My Friend

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by.  Who doesn't love the weekend, although it is nearly over for me.  I have had a bit of creative time today and LOVE the  Spellbinders Indie Collection release ! There are fabulous dies in this Collection - I will be using two of them… the Shapeabilities Layered Tulip Etched Dies - Exclusive and Hello Expressions Stamp and Die Set - Exclusive.

The Layered Tulips are cut/embossed from two shades of yellow card stock and adhered together with glue.  The shaded leaves have been created using two shades of card stock and have also been glued together.

For the card front I have cut/embossed cream card stock using the largest die from the Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies, AT THE SAME TIME placing the small pattern insert die from the Shapeabilities Holly Jolly Christmas Etched Dies A Charming Christmas Collection by Becca Feeken in the centre of the card front and running both dies through the Platinum Die Cutting MachineThe die cut card base has been popped up onto a pre-cut slightly larger peach card base.

All of the flowers are popped up off of my card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares, which also adds some dimension.

Finally, I added my sentiment onto the card! I cut the word “Hello” from black card stock and the background Die in pale yellow.

I hope you enjoyed this card making idea and will give it a try using these or other dies from your stash.
