Steamin' Style

There are so many digital sites around these days - I do love to use their images when I get a moment, I have a number printed out waiting to be made into a project

I love this Steampunk style Dress Form that has been coloured using SU Chalks/Pastels

The image has been cut using the Spellbinders Classic Oval LG and layered onto the gorgeous Fleur de Lis Rectangle, with a Fancy Tags Three that has been cut and added to each end of the image, creating a layered frame- all Dies have been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur.

My hand dyed Seam Binding makes a pretty bow along with the addition of a cog from the Spellbinders Sprightly Sprockets Dies illustrated by Donna Salazar.

This card is for the following challenges:
Cupcake Craftroom - Anything Goes
Crafty Cardmakers -  No Floral Embellishments
Daisy Doodles Creative Challenge - Anything Goes
Make it Monday - always Anything Goes
Chalk-Ah-Lot Cafe - Anything Goes (with Chalk)
Gingerloft - Anything Goes

Shine for You

A quick card to share today, using an image from The Graphics Fairy - I love their free digis - if you have never been there - you are missing out and can find it HERE.

The DP is some Prima leftovers (lol as it there is such a thing - I use every single piece of it)

and Spellbinders Labels Ten Die to cut out the image, using the Grand Calibur. I have used the Die as a template for sponging before removing it.

The corners are from the Cuttlebug Vintage Corners Die and the Seam Binding is hand dyed by Mwah!!

Some pearls and a gorgeous coloured stone are the finishing touches.

This card is for the following challenges:
Heart Song Inspirations - Anything Goes
House of Gilli - Anything Goes
Incy Wincy Designs - Anything Goes
Make it Monday - always Anything Goes

Wise Friends

If you are anything like me - you have a lot of digi images saved to use ONE DAY.  I decided this was the day to use at least one of them...

I could not resist this owl from The Graphics Fairy

It has been but out using the Classic Ovals LG from Spellbinders, which I have also used as a mask for sponging. I have used the Grand Calibur for cutting (of course!)  The sentiment is a Rubon!

The DP and leaf ribbon is left over from one of the Classes I teach - I am always trying to use those things that gather on my desk - but to no avail!! LOL!  I am having fun trying anyway!!

This was a quick and easy card, as much as I love adding lots of detail, it is good to be able to make something quick - I need to do it more often when my supplies for the  Boutiques that sell my cards are getting low...
