Graphic 45 - Love

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by.  It seems I am on a run of shabby cards at the moment - (but not too shabby wink:wink!) using leftovers from some kits I put together for a Workshop - they were just too pretty to go into the bin - and of course they are Graphic 45 - what is not to love?!

For the card front I have used pretty patterned paper that I have had since I started creating -shocking I know, but I have decided I am using up the older papers before opening new - well that is my aim anyway! LOL!  The card front has been has been adhered to a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

A narrow strip of contrasting patterned paper has been glued to the lower portion of the card front.  Embellishments from Graphic 45 have been adhered to the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra, along with the Little Birdie Crafts flowers that are popping out from the top of the mini envelope.

A double seam binding bow has been glued to the below the mini envelope and a Little Birdie Crafts flower glued to the knot of the bow.  Want2Scrap 250 Count - Turquoise Rhinestones have been added to each corner.

Fleur De Lis in Mauve

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping in.  Today's card was inspired by a tag that came with a beautiful gift.  It has been created using a retired Layers of Colors stamp set.

I have created a card base and added a card front that has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Celebrations Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies #5 #6 (#1 being the smallest) and Graphic 45 The Secret Garden Collection. The embossed edges have been lightly sanded using a Sanding Block.  This has been popped up using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The next layer has also been cut using the Pierced Rectangles #3 #4 (#1 being the smallest) using mauve card stock and popped up onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

The next layer has been cut/embossed from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Romantic Rose Etched Dies #2 (#1 being the smallest) and popped up onto the layered card front using  3D Foam Squares.  The tag has also been popped up, at an angle with Want2Scrap 250 Count White Pearls  adhered to the top of the tag, along with a tassel. A recycled butterfly and Mulberry Paper Rose has been glued on to the right of the tag.

This card is linked to the following Challenges:

A Little Mixed Media - Heart Bezel

Hello friends - Monday here for me, Monday evening infact and it has been a productive day.  It is always a great feeling to get some projects finished and photographed - getting them blogged is a whole 'nother show!! LOL!!

I have used the  largest Bezel in the Spellbinders Media Mixage Hearts One - Bronze and the co-ordinating Die, which I believe may have been discontinued.  I have used some recycled Mixed Media paper, stamping some eclectic images onto it and then coating on both sides using Imagine Creative Medium to seal the paper so liquid does not change it.

I have added some embellishments - they are adhered by drizzling a little Ice Resin into the bezel and layering the embellishment onto it.  Once I was definite I poured in some Ice Resin - I love how it is self doming and dries like jewellers glass - perfect.

Some reasonably chunky glitter has been sprinkled onto the Ice Resin - it is heavy enough to sink slightly and has a great effect.  I am still deciding exactly what I am going to do with it - the options are many - maybe a necklace, on a canvas, bookmark.....to name a few!

This project is lined to the following challenged:
Artistic Inspirations -  ANYTHING GOES + ANYTHING GOES
Incy Wincy Designs - 1 PAPER LAYER ONLY
heARTful Stamping Challenge - Anything Goes + Stamp
The Mixed Media World Challenge - Anything Mixed Media + Use Natural Materials

One Day...

Hello friends - today I have a card to share with you that features a sentiment I love - it just had to be the focal point - and yes - it is a Stampers Anonymous sentiment!

The sentiment has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and cut/embossed using Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangle.  The edges of the Hemstitch Rectangle have been sponged around using brown ink.

The patterned paper on the card front has been embossed using the Embossing Folders Donna Salazar Designs Medallion and sponged using Imagine Delicata ink in Golden Glitz.  The sentiment is offset onto the card base and popped up using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Recycled braid has been adhered below the sentiment using liquid glue and Want2Scrap white pearls added.
