Tuesday already and the first day of March! Summer is over for us in the Southern Hemisphere and autumn/fall has officially started! I love Autumn in Canberra - it is picturesque!! Today is also Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge day - wahoo!
For my first card I have used an image from our weekly sponsor digistamps4joy - how adorable is this owl - I love those dreamy eyes and the gorgeous wispy feathers.
I have coloured him with Prismacolor Pencils - I am having fun getting familiar with them and love the way colours blend so well using Odourless Mineral Spirits. I have also added some Buccaneer Blue from Lindy's Stamp Gang - this stuff is amazing - it looks dark Blue in the bottle but has a vintage brown/gold finish - divine!
It is popped up with foam tape for some extra dimension.
My card for the "priscillastyles' Design Team is created using the brand new Ballerina Resting image from Priscilla's Store - I just love this ballerina and had a lot of fun making this card.
I also coloured this image with Prismacolor Pencils and Odourless Mineral Spirits.
Then cut her out and popped her up on foam tape - you know how I love dimension!

Linda these are both amazing! I love the yellows and browns on the owl card. Your highlighting on him is beautiful! The ballerina... WOW! I love how you popped her up. The soft pink with the little touches of sparkle is so perfect. I love how your swirls mimic the rose vine and how your tulle is the same fabric as on a ballerina's tutu. Perfect choices! Love both the cards.
