I am back with my 'Themed' AIR Tutorial for the month of May - the theme for the month is 'Self Portrait' - this is open to our interpretation, I have decided to create a card - that is so 'me' in so many ways.
I am using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Delicata™ Pigment Ink; IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaFine™ Archival Pigment Ink and IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Dye Ink

Stamp onto white card and let the ink dry. You can see the contrast of the colours and the shimmer in the photos below.
Lightly spray the IMAGINE

Crafts®/Tsukineko® Sponge Daubers™ apply the ink all over the white card - the IMAGINE

Adhere these layers to the sprayed and inked card, also using foam tape.
Stamp a butterfly from the Penny Black®, Inc. - social butterfly stamp set using IMAGINE

I hope you like the finished result and are inspired to pop over to Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko and see all of the wonderful products they have and check out the facebook page for inspiration that is shared there, along with more tutorials from the AIR Team
Is this card a Self Portrait?
It contains so many of the things that I love and are so me - Goosebumps - so very symbolic of the Dimension I like in my life - life is for living - on every level. The Delicata - brings a gentle simmer that captures the eye without overwhelming and overshadowing everything around it - is representative of how I love to be around people but do not like to be in the limelight, although at first glance you may think otherwise but the more you get to know me, the more you see me for who I am. The layers - body, soul and Spirit - all so vital in life and the sentiment - I am grateful for all I have in life, my friends and family and most importantly - my faith. A card can tell a story without us even realising - who would have thought this card could say so much about me!
Thank you for your
comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing
place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day!
God bless you!
