Authentique Paper - Heaven on Earth

Baby cards are always a pleasure to create - they would be one of the cards, along with Weddings that people tend to keep...so I love to make them special - which is not hard using the adorable Precious Collection by Authentique™ Paper,

I have cut/embossed the patterned paper and sentiment using the A2 Modern Stationary Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator #7 and #6 Dies.

NOTE: Spellbinders number their Dies from the smallest to the largest - the smallest being #1

The embossed edges have been sanded using a Sanding Block, giving a soft and distressed look.  The sentiment is then popped up using Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares

A paper Rose and Want2Scrap© Swirls Finesse - LeCreme has been trimmed and added to the flower.

The Authentique™ Paper sentiment has been layered into a Lacey Circles  Nestabilities® and popped up on 3D Foam Squares for added dimension.

This card is for the following changes:

  3. Dear Lovely Linda, yours is the most elegant and lovely baby card I have ever seen. Thank you for showing us that cutesy is not always necessary when creating baby cards.

  9. Hello Linda. Your sweet little baby card is beautifully done. Your layering of different papers and patterns is very effective. I also really like your flourish bling and the sweet flower on the one corner and the vintage baby image on the opposite corner. I appreciate your joining in and sharing your card with us at A Vintage Journey. However since it does not have a strong Tim Holtz influence or products used, it won't be eligible for our prize. <3 Candy
