Hello Blog Friends,  I hope you have had a relaxing weekend - it has been a long weekend here - with today being Australia Day - it is highly likely that most Australians had a BBQ with sausages and lamb, or a meat pie - with sauce and lamingtons - and for those who love vegemite...today is the day to enjoy it....

The next layer is from Authentique Paper - and the precut flowers are from Kaisercraft.  The sentiment is from Fun Stampers Journey.  The Corrugated card has been sponged using  IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Memento Ink in Wedding Dress and a Sponge Dauber.  Finishing off with Washi Tape and vintage lace.

I have used  Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares for dimension ,and E-Z Runner on this card.  The beautiful Bling is from Want2Scrap©

Flowers Galore

It is always good to have some extra cards in hand - I love this pre-embossed paper, such a great paper to colour.

Making cards on mass is not what I do - I get bored - so four cards was pretty good for me.  I did make each one slightly different - the colours vary as well as the embellishments.

I have coloured using IMAGINECrafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Markers and an Aqua Brush.  Each card has been cut/embossed using the A2 Curved Matting Basics A Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator using the Spellbinders® Grand Calibur® Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

The sentiments and trim vary with each card - one from My Fun Stampers Journey, Stampin' Up, Penny Black Inc and a clear stamp from my stash.

The bling is from Want2Scrap, I have also used  Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L  E-Z Dots Permanent  Adhesive Runner on this card.

I have also used embellishments from My Fun Stampers Journey and May Arts.

These cards are for the following challenges:
Little Miss Muffet Challenges - Anything Goes (runs until the new year)
Cards Galore Encore - Anything Goes!
Crafting Musketeers - "Use Bling"
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper – Anything goes with Patterned Paper

AIR Tutorial #3 - VersaColor and Goosebumps Challenge

I am sharing my third Tutorial for September as an Artist in Residence for IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® - the Artist Challenge is to use IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaColor™ Pigment Ink and IMAGINE Crafts® GooseBumps™ Texture Spray/ Dauber.

    • IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Fantastix™ Multi-Purpose Applicators
    • IMAGINE Crafts® GooseBumps™ Texture Spray.
    • IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaColor™ Pigment Ink in Violet
    • IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaColor™ Pigment Ink in Canary
    • IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaColor™ Pigment Ink in Turquoise

    Preferred Promotional Partners:

Other:   Want2Scrap© - Baby Bling; SRM Stickers - Wishing You Well; yellow card; white card; double sided tape,Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® - E-Z Tape Runner;  Dodz 3D Clear Adhesive Dots

Using the IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaColor™ Pigment Ink in Turquoise, stamp the
My Fun Stampers Journey - Houndstooth background stamp, onto white card.  Trim to the size of the image and adhere to the card base.

Cut one (1) Diamond Effects Nestabilities® Card Creator #3  in white card.
NOTE:  Spellbinders number their Dies from smallest to largest - the smallest being #1
Adhere into a scrap of white card - I used a Mega Oval Die that I had in my stock - this is to give a base to mount the sentiment onto.

Using IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® VersaColor™ Pigment Ink in Violet stamp two of the larger butterflies from the Penny Black Inc. - Social Butterfly clear stamp set, followed by two of the smaller butterfly in VersaColor™ Pigment Ink in Canary.

Colour around the edges of the  large butterfly using an IMAGINE Crafts®/Tsukineko® Fantastix™ Multi-Purpose Applicators and the VersaColor™ Pigment Ink in Canary and the inside of the smaller butterflies wings using VersaColor™ Pigment Ink in Turquoise. Layer the butterflies a shown in the photo below.

Attach Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® - Dodz 3D Clear Adhesive Dots to the back of the layered butterflies and attach to the top and bottom corners of the sentiment frame.  Adhere the sentiment onto yellow card and cut out using a Circle Die and adhere to the center of the frame, using foam dots.  Apply three of the Want2Scrap© - Baby Bling onto the butterfly body.

Finish by applying the  IMAGINE Crafts® GooseBumps™ Dauber Top to add some shimmer to the wings of the top butterfly.
