Sweet Napkin Card

Hello friends - thanks so much for stopping by - I am happy to say I am back in The Studio after a few uninspiring weeks due to being between a State of Emergency, packed ready to evacuate or Watch and Alert with the Bush Fires.  I finally managed to create a card using one of the many serviettes/napkins I have stashed away - who can resist these sweet strawberries?!

I have used layered the napkin onto a Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 6" x 4"Adhesive Sheet and added a Kaisercraft Die cut across the centre of the card front, along with a strip of red and white spotted patterned paper along the top of the Die cut.

Little Birdie Crafts flowers and a butterfly have been added to the card front - the die cut bow behind the flowers is from Spellbinders.  I think I had better get the other Napkins turned into cards - very soon! I have not added a sentiment as the card can be used for many occasions - including up and coming Valentines for those who celebrate.

Remembering Charlie - More than a Friend

Hello friends, welcome and thank you for stopping by!  Today I am sharing a layout created using Kaisercraft Antiquities Collection.  This is a very special layout to me, it is of our beautiful family dog, Charlie, who sadly is no longer with us - he was an amazing dog and needed to be captured in a layout.

The sentiments in the Kaisercraft Antiquities Collectibles are so beautiful and work perfectly with this layout- they express what is so hard o put into words at these times.

On Charlies last day we took some inky paw prints, we each one at least one.  I have included one on the layout, it has been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Circles Etched Dies and sponged using Imagine Delicata Ink in Golden Glitz.

The word 'Charlie' has been die-cut using Karen Burniston Alphabet Die and teal card stock and adhered above the photo using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  The beautiful bling is from Want2Scrap.

Double Triangle Fold Card

Hello friends, thank so much for stopping by.  Today I have a Fancy Fold card to share with you - and it is so quick and easy to make - in fact it makes two at the one time - how do you like that!?

The cutting and scoring are easy, one sheet of 21cm x 28cm card stock makes two of these cards,  All you have to do is cut your card stock in half diagonally. This gives you the two card bases.  Fold the left side across so the point meets the right hand side of the card stock, then fold the top over so the point meets the bottom right corner of the card base – this forms the base of your double triangle card Use a Bone Folder for a crisp fold.   Adhere white card stock to the rectangle in the centre using double sided tape.

Cut two pieces of  Little Birdie Crafts co-ordinating patterned paper measuring 10cm x 13.5cm on the diagonal, from the upper right corner to lower left corner. This will also make two cards. Adhere one of the triangles to the lower front of the card stock and the contrasting patterned paper on the other side. I have embossed the green patterned paper using the Spellbinders Flourish Stitch Em-bossing Fold'ers Quilt It by Lene Lok - Next it has been lightly sanded  across the embossing.

Adhere a Kaisercraft Collectible along the diagonal edge on the right flap of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra. Pop up the die cut frame onto the left side of the card front.  Apply Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares to the right hand side of the floral circle and inside the die-cut frame – check that none can be seen when the card is open.  Add a Little Birdie Crafts white flower and foliage to the frame insert.
For the second card adhere Kaisercraft Collectibles Butterfly onto a Spellbinders Nestabilities Fancy Edged Circles Etched Dies, followed by a pre-cut mauve scalloped circle onto the right flap of the card front.  Adhere a strip of co-ordinating patterned paper across the lower left hand flap followed by Want2Scrap Beautiful Bling Borders.  Add a stamped sentiment from the Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Vintage Elegance Becca Feeken Giving Occasions Stamp and Die Set.
