Remembering Charlie - More than a Friend

Hello friends, welcome and thank you for stopping by!  Today I am sharing a layout created using Kaisercraft Antiquities Collection.  This is a very special layout to me, it is of our beautiful family dog, Charlie, who sadly is no longer with us - he was an amazing dog and needed to be captured in a layout.

The sentiments in the Kaisercraft Antiquities Collectibles are so beautiful and work perfectly with this layout- they express what is so hard o put into words at these times.

On Charlies last day we took some inky paw prints, we each one at least one.  I have included one on the layout, it has been cut/embossed using Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Circles Etched Dies and sponged using Imagine Delicata Ink in Golden Glitz.

The word 'Charlie' has been die-cut using Karen Burniston Alphabet Die and teal card stock and adhered above the photo using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  The beautiful bling is from Want2Scrap.

This layout is linked to the following challenges:

Happy Birthday 2U

Hello Blog friends - it feels like forever since I have been here with a card for you, but in reality it is not - just had a lot happening in the meantime.

I have been playing with the ever increasing pile of images and bits of paper gathering on my desk - I always like to see what I can create from them.  This gorgeous bird image is from Crafty Secrets and has been waiting for a home for some time.  The feathers are from a face mask my husband had as a photography prop, but then we got a puppy - enough said about that LOL! Just quietly I am happy I rescued these adorable little feathers.

The papers are from Authentique Papers and is a negative Die from the Branching Out Spellbinders®  Nestabilities® Card Creator.  The Tag is from the Fancy Tags Two Shapeabilities.  All Dies have been cut/embossed using the  Grand Calibur® Machine.
