John Next Door -Snowglobe

Hello friends, welcome and thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you are have enjoyed your week!  I have been playing with the Snow Globe Die from John Lockwood aka John Next Door -and IT IS FABULOUS!!  It comes together easily and is very easy to made a Shaker Card - who doesn't love Snowglobes at Christmas!!

I have used the John Next Door Christmas 2019 - Snowglobe Die - the card base in cream and the card front in Gold card stock.  Acetate and white glitter have been used to create a Shaker card.

I have cut/embossed one JOHN NEXT DOOR  Christmas Dies - Holly Corner using matt gold card stock for contrast. The Holly Corner has been glued to the top of the Snowglobe.

The sentiment and tag are a little sneak peek of a set that is due for release at the end of August - I have used Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 6x4 Adhesive Sheets on my card stock, making it so easy to adhere the letters to the Tag.

The Reindeer are from the John Next Door Christmas Dies  - Deer Scenes and have been cut/embossed using Kraft card stock and adhered to the front of the Snow Globe using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.

The Tag has been popped up onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Foam Squares.  Want2Scrap Orange Rhinestones have been adhered to each end of the tag.

Live the Life You Love

Hello friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by!  It is a beautiful sunny Tuesday, after spending the morning ding those things that need to be done I have finally made it to the computer to share another card with you.  I am using some older Kaisercraft paper and Collectibles  and loving the result. There is a lot to be said for older papers - for me it is about whether I like it, not about how new it is - at the end of the day it is all pretty!

I have made the most of the pattern on the paper and used that on the card front.  This has been layered onto a slightly bigger white pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The doily has been cut/embossed from a Spellbinders Picot Edges Circle and popped up onto the centre of the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  A pre-cut Scalloped Border has been adhered down the left hand side of the card front and a edge strip from the Kaisercraft paper glued onto the Scalloped Border.

The layered handmade flower has been created using Graphic 45 papers and has a Little Birdie Crafts flower in the centre.  I have added some leaves I have on hand from an artificial arrangement - they come in so handy at times are work perfectly.  The flower has been popped up into the centre of the Doily using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The sentiment is also from Kaisercraft.

So Very Happy

Hello friends,  thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a pretty card to share with you today - I have to say I do love the colours - very shabby and a little 'boho'.  I am also using the Karen Burniston Rocking Rectangle Pop Up Die - and I have to say I am more than impressed with the mechanisms used to create this Die Set - along with the others I have in my 'hot little hands!

I have used the Kaisercraft Bombay Sunset Collection, - a perfect match-the colours could not co-ordinate more perfectly.  The card front, plus the inner panels have all been cut/embossed using co-ordinating papers and the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies then embossed using Platinum Die Cutting Machine Next they have been adhered to the slightly larger pre-cut card base using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  The Filigree Dies around the window are also from Spellbinders, but sadly have been discontinued

You can find Karen's Video Tutorial HERE - it is so easy to follow.

Beautiful Lace from my stash has been glued down the side of the card front and Want2Scrap Orange Rhinestones - medium have been added to the centre of each lace flower.

My sentiments are also from the Kaisercraft Bombay Sunset Collection.

A Little Birdies Crafts Flower has been adhered to a double white Seam Binding bow at the top the card layered images.  The sentiment has been adhered on the right side of the Cherub. Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse in White has been added from the base of the flower.

Love You

Hello friends, welcome and thanks for stopping by!  It is Friday evening and I have been inside avoiding the polar blast that is happening - thankfully for me it means Studio time with Kaisercraft Collectibles and other misc pieces gathering on my desk..   Once again I am inspired by Alicia McNamara's Boho set!  This has definitely become my 'go to' layout for a card!   It is another very quick and easy way to create a pretty card.

The card front has been cut/embossed using leftover pieces of patterned paper and one of my favourite dies - the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies then embossed using Platinum Die Cutting Machine.  The card front has been popped up onto a slightly larger pre-cut white card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

You can see Alicia's cards and tutorial HERE - the stripes got me started, especially when it means I can use the front of 6"x6" Pads - they are perfect for this.  The patterned strip is 9cm long and adhered to the centre of cards on the right-hand side. using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner.

Kaisercraft Collectibles have been layered to the left of the patterned strip and directly onto it.  Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse in White have have been added either side of the flower and to the top corners of the card front.  It is very easy to create a card in this style - thanks so much Alicia for the inspiration - again! xo
