I have used the New Release set Fruitful Harvest, this is one of the smaller images and I love the way it sits so beautifully on an embossed Nestibilitie. As you can see I kept the lines clean - no sponging (yes I nearly went into shock making this! LOL) and focused more on the colors and texture.
The image is coloured with SU Chalks and a Blender Pen, it was so quick - one of the things I quickly came to appreciate with the LOC images is the way they can be used for CAS or more eclectic - either way you end up with a fabulous card.
How could I resist a bow, especially with the Bow Easy - it just finishes the crisp look beautifully. I did use a SU Scalloped Border Punch on the corners of the embossed CS and a Corner Rounder on the Black CS - nice and easy!
I wanted to use different colours for the next card, this time I have used one of the bigger images (how good is it to have a variety of sizes) and again colouring it with SU Chalks and a Blender Pen, I went for the blues and purples, creating a very different look.
I love these colour together and again, this is simple although is does look fuller. I cut the image out with a Large Oval Nestibilitie and framed it with am embossed Labels 4 Nestie - these have been sponged with Distressing Ink. I have layered it onto distressed and sponged DP.
On opposite corners I stamped a leaf from the Fleur de Lis art stamp set and coloured it with the chalks, adding a half pearl, pearls have also been added to the other corners - I love pearls with vintage.
