Friends are Flowers that Never Fade

I have been wanting to show you this gorgeous gift bag I made at when I went to my last Scrapbooking Night at my SU Demo and friend Ann - Ann is always coming up with gorgeous creations and finding new tutorials - I love to see what she has been up to.....

These gift bags are so quick and easy to make - they can be dressed up for any occasion

any style

I have added a crochet flower and some vintage lace and braid to add some dimension and give it some character.

you can see the depth here - double pouches - allows for a tag in one pocket and perhaps a gift voucher in another...perfect!

This project is for the following challenge:
2Sisters - Thinking of You
Crazy4Challenges - Celebrate Something - Friendship
Marks Finest Paper - Use Something New - Braid
Stampin with Dragon - Favourite Winter Colour - Green
Fab'n Funky Challenges - Quick and Easy Does It
Sentimental Sundays - Celebrate Friendshop, plus a Sentiment
I Did It Creations - Favourite technique - Layering

A shorter post from me today, but there will be plenty coming from me in a few days - I will have a busy blog this week and I would love to see you back here for another visit - it makes my day - I have become a comment JUNKIE!!  LOL!

Both the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge and Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge will be back for 2011 this week - we would love to see join us - there is lots of inspiration flowing from each!

Layers of Color  has a New Release Blog Hop on January 17 - we would love you to join us - there is an opportunity to win  a New Release stamp/s from each Designer - you won't want to miss this!  Watch this space for some Sneak Peeks!!
God bless you!

  4. Linda these bags are wonderful - I am hanging out for the tutorial you promised, but with all the new releases etc I guess we will forgive you if you don't post it before the end of the month. :-)

  6. Seriously, that is worth being the gift all by itself. When you give it to someone, just put a note inside saying, "this IS your gift". LOL

  16. What a cute little bag!! I love that is all green. You don't see that much. Green always seems to be one of those red-headed step colors that is used mostly to as a secondary. The color green is very happy this morning my friend!
