Hello everyone - how is your weekend going - mine has been lovely - very peaceful and a nice pace after school starting back for our kids this week....it is the final year at High School for two of ours and that is a daunting thought - not for them though - they can hardly wait! LOL! While they have been at school I have been working my way through some images that have sat on my desk and I am happy to be able to show you some of them with this weeks Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge..
"Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5 NIV
Patti J's challenge to us is since it is Valentine's Week, let's make a KISS Card (Keep it simple, Sisters!) - One layer card.
I have made a set of three postcards - all one layer - shocked me too! LOL! But I did have fun with the postcard style - that is why you are seeing three this week! I am sure there will be more where these came from - there are numerous stamp sets that this style would work with!
I have used some gorgeous images that were sent to my by my dear friend Gunn - I love the way these images are inked, there is a fabulous feel to them
- I have added sentiments from the SU Winter Post set and a Paris set that I have. I always love to use stamps from different sets - it creates unique cards with a collage feel!

Wow - what a scripture!! SO many of us would love more money than we have - or do not have. Not necessarily to INDULGE but to be able to live comfortably and be able to help those in need - wouldn't that be wonderful!! But lately we have seen a number of families that have all the money they could possibly need and it has not brought them any joy - infact is making them miserable and causing more pressure than they can bear.
As we are all aware it is not money that is the problem , it is the LOVE of money. Money itself is a good thing, a blessing infact. Why is it then that people can never get enough, they try and hold onto it and become miserable. Perhaps the answer is that God is no longer theirr provider, they are not dependent on Him for their daily needs. It is better to have Godly riches than earthly wealth...there is a HUGE difference!!
Please pop back over to the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge Blog to share Patti J's inspiration from this weeks scripture.
