Card Design Class and A Little Bit of News

I have a date for my next Classes at the local Craft Shop - Scrap'n'Stuff and thought it was time to show you!  Each week I am endeavouring to make sure that one of the cards is a different style, to keep it interesting - it is also keeping my on my toes!  LOL!

I have chosen to tackle the 'Dreaded Man Card I am not sure why we find these so hard but so many of us do - so I thought a Pocket card would be perfect!

I have used the Keys Stamp from my stash for the main image and added the sentiment from Layers of Color Happy Wishes art stamp set

The side panel is embossed with the Fleur de Lis Embossing Folder.

You can see the fabulous font on the sentiment from the Layers of Color Happy Wishes art stamp set.

The second card is one I have created before and has been so popular that I had to create it again - not only that, I know that the ladies are going to fall in love with the divine Layers of Color Flutterescent art stamp set - most of you would know that this is a favourite of mine - I just keep gravitating to it when it comes to creating with butterflies!

These cards are for the following challenges:
Clear It Out - Buttons - card 1
Cuttlebug Spot - Buttons - Must include Dry Embossing - card 1
Everybody Art Challenge - Happy Birthday - card 1
Cupcake Craft - Monochromatic - card 1
Incy Wincy Designs - Embossing - card 1
Squigglefly - Buttons - card 1
There's Magic in the Air - Vintage Card or Tag - card 1
Creative Cowgirls - Monochromatic - card 1
One Stitch at a Time - Something for the Boys - card 1
Paper Sundaes - Embossing - card 1

  2. Yay Linda - two masterpieces today - love the depth of colour and texture you have achieved on the butterfly card! Know what you mean by the 'dreaded man card'..... but we get there. Good for the gray matter!

  3. I think it is difficult to make a man card, but you've done it so well. Oh how I'd love to be at your class Linda, if only there weren't thousands of miles between us. Thanks for sharing these, and for the inspiration. I'm so happy that Layers of Colors is coming to a store near you. I bet you had something do with that. Have a blessed day. ~ Abby

  5. Like I told you before. I like the keys on your MAN card. I love the LOC butterfly card. I think this is one of the easiest of the butterflies to use. I love your little touches of sparkle. Hope you are still on the mend. Have a blessed day!
