UFO Sighting....

I am happy to report that I have completed one more UFO (unfinished Object) and the pile is getting smaller - that has to be a good thing - right!?! LOL!

This card is created using that gorgeous Stampin' Up Hydrangea - it is such a divine flower, I have one growing at home, I love the old fashioned feel it has.

I inked the image with Tsukineko Versafine, inking the leaves in Spanish Moss - it is easy to use this technique on this image as it is quite a large one.  It has been layered onto a Spellbinders Floral Doily Motif, I love this DieCut and even more so because it has been designed by the wonderful Nina Brackett - that lady is amazingly talented!!  I have cut it out using my Spellbinders Grand Calibur -  I do love this DieCut machine - it cuts and embosses so easily - where were we before Spellbinders - they have changed Papercraft forever!! LOL!

The DP has been embossed with a Tim Holtz Flourish Embossing Folder and a Tim Holtz Flourish has been added - anything Tim Holtz is wonderful - right!?

Finishing off with some vintage lace
This card is for the following challenges;
Crafts and Me - Vintage/ Distressing
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Thank you for visiting today, I have had a busy day making Mothers Day cards with children at the local Market Place with my dear friend and SU Demo Ann...one more day to go!!.  It is lovely to see the children's faces when they have finished their card - I am sure there will be some surprised Mums!!  Tonight I have taught a Card Design Class at my LSS and I am 'done' for the day - I will catch you tomorrow!

  6. Another comment 'cause I was quick on the button, Linda.
    I used to love making Mother's Day cards and gifts with my school classes. I really enjoyed hearing the chatter and the beautiful comments that were made by the students about their mums.
