Handmade Vintage

I have had an opportunity to play with my new stamps - this gorgeous set Sewing Labels by The Angel Company - these are illustrated by the amazingly talented Nina Brackett.

As soon as I saw this set I knew it would be one I 'needed!'  LOL!  Sewing Labels are 'so in' right now, but we all know they have never been out - have they - I do believe Vintage is here to stay - yay!!

I stamped the image in Walnut Stain Distressing Ink and cut around the edge with scissors as I don't have the Labels 8 that it coordinates with it - but I have ordered it - just as well!!

Out came the huge jar of buttons that has been collected over time and I added some to the edge

The handmade label has been stamped and also cut out by hand and popped up onto foam tape....crochet lace and this fabulous tape measure ribbon has been

Here you can see the layers and details clearly.  I know I will be using this set more - I am loving it!
