Lacey Butterfly

I am back with the second stamp in the gorgeous set from Penny Black  illustrated by my dear friend and ever so talented Laura Kirste Campbell - as I said in my previous post, those of you who LOVED Layers of Color and have been missing Laura's artistic flair, will be happy to know she is back and ROCKING the images.

Juts like the Lacey Bird this image, A Flight of Thread, co-ordinates with the Spellbinders Labels Twenty Nestabilities - don't you love that!

I have stamped two images and cut out the butterfly on one, coloured the image and the butterfly with Chalks using the Tsukineko fantastix , they are perfect for colouring.  They are then layered onto the Spellbinders Lacey Circle Nestabilities with foam tape.  The single butterfly is popped up with foam tape as well, to give the wings dimension.

Seam Binding is my ribbon of choice, I love the softness of it and how beautifully it makes bows without the 'bulk'!

A Mulberry Rose has been added.

This card is for the following challenges:

Just Add Ink Pearls
4 Crafty Chicks - Monochromatic
