Bird King

It is Australia Day here and a day we all celebrate, often with a BBQ - who doesn't love that!  Australia has been my home for 32 years this year and I count myself blessed to be here - it is a wonderful place!

My card today is created using an image from Glitz - I love this image that has been stamped using Tsukineko Versafine in Vintage Sepia and cut out using the Spellbinders™ Classic Ovals LG and  Floral Ovals  Nestabilities®

I have added a little bit of colour to the bird using Tsukineko Memento Markers - just lightly, along with a touch of shimmer to the wings.  This has been layered using foam tape onto the Floral Ovals  Nestabilities® and in turn layered onto patterned paper cut using the Spellinders™  Grand Calibur® Machine and  5 x 7 Detailed Scallops Nestabilities®

The sentiment is made from some stickers from my stash and added to the 5 x 7 Detailed Scallops Nestabilities®.  The white card has been sponged, using the Die as a Stencil, before removing from the Die

I have finished off by using some Want2Scrap Bling  Swirls Finesse - Rhinestones

This card is for the following challenges:
Brown Sugar – Valentines
Delicious Doodles - All you need is LOVE
Simply Create Too - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me - Vintage
Craft Room Challenge - Monochrome
Paper Playtime - Use some Brown
Stamp and Create - Love
