Spellbinders Firefly Tutorial

I am sharing a tutorial for Spellbinders today using another of the fabulous hand drawn Stamp and Die sets from Licensed Designer Stephanie Low, along with an embossing folder by Seth Apter of The Altered Page.  My card today is so very simple but definitely not lacking detail thanks to the way the talented Spellbinders Designers and products that work so well together from the different designers.

1. Emboss the dark blue card stock using Laser Beams Em-bossing Folder.


2. Stamp the Jar of Fireflies and the large Firefly using Black Ink.
3. Cut/emboss using the co-ordinating Dies.
4. Colour the images using Chameleon Pens.


5. Sponge the centre of the Laser Beams Embossing Folder using Electric Neon Ink and a sponge dauber.
6. Pop up the Jar onto the embossed base, slight below the centre using 3D Foam Squares.
7. Pop up the sentiment above the jar, slightly to the right using 3D Foam Squares.
8. Pop up the Firefly to the left of the sentiment using 3D Foam Squares


9. Pop the card front onto a pre-cut card base using  3D Foam Squares.
10. Lightly add Kindy Glitz to the Fireflies wings.
11. Lightly add Kindy Glitz to the inked areas of the Lazer Beams Em-bossing Folder.

Other :  Liquid Glue; Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: E-Z Adhesive Runner, 3D Foam Squares; white and dark blue card stock;  Imagine Memento Ink in Bamboo Leaves, Radiant Neon's in Electric Yellow, Sponge Daubers; Kindy Glitz/Liquid Glitter; computer generated sentiment.
