Hello friends, it is Friday evening here and the weekend is here - I hope you have a good one - when it arrives for you. Although it is summer here in the Southern Hemisphere, our days have been slightly cooler and the nights are lovely and cool - even the leaves are starting to change colour - and this inspired me to get the beautiful stamp out - Penny Black Inc. Peaceful Moment Cling stamp.
I have stamped the image using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black - I find stamping onto a hard surface always gives me a crisp image. The image has been trimmed and then sponged using Imagine Memento Inks in Bamboo Leaves, Summer Sky, Grey Flannel and Dandelion using a Sponge Dauber. Remember it is best to start lightly - you can always add more. I have used the stamp to guide me with the colours - and added a yellow circle, done by hand - no template, to make it sunny but not too bold and vibrant. The image has been layered onto slightly larger black card stock
I have cut/embossed the Arches from the Spellbinders Graceful Sweet Words Card Creator Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken Etched Dies using black card stock and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine. This has been adhered to the right hand side of the image using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L:E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra. A thing strip of green card stock has been threaded through the Black Arches. This has been popped up onto a yellow card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.
A computer generates sentiment has been adhered to the top tight corner of the card and it has been finished by adding slight silver splatters across the image.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much LadyofCards Brenda I do understand what you mean -perhaps the word 'ethereal' might cover it. I found it a bit that way when creating it. Appreciate your comment! xo
