Hello friends - thank you for stopping by! Today I have a tutorial to share for Spellbinders - created using the Dala Horse Etched Dies Folk Art Collection by Lene Lok - I could not resist turning this beautiful Folk Art Horse into a Rocking Horse - it was so easily done - as you will see as you follow along with the Tutorial.
1. Cut/emboss one Dala Horse using pink card stock.
2. Adhere the pink die cut Dala Horse to patterned paper and trim around the outline using scissors.
3. Glue the pieces together.
4. Cut/emboss one Lunette Arched Borders Etched Dies using one insert and both Top and Bottom Arches, along with white cardstock.
5. Cut/emboss one Lunette Arched Borders Etched Dies Top and Bottom Arches and pink card stock.
6. Glue the pieces together to create the 'rocker'.
7. Adhere the Dala Horse legs behind the 'rocker' using double sided tape.
8. Cut/emboss one Coralene's Chemise Layering Frame Large using yellow card stock
9. Cut/emboss Rectangle Insert using white card stock
10. Stamp the insert using Cute as a Button stamp set and Angel Pink ink.
11. Pop up the stamped insert onto the Chemise Layering Frame using 3D Foam Squares.
12. Stamp the sentiment using Rose Bud Ink.
13.Trim and adhere to slightly later pink card stock.
14. adhere to the top right corner of the card using double sided tape on the bottom left corner and 3D Foam Squares on the rest - to make it level with the layers.
15. Pop the Rocking Horse up onto the layered card front using 3D Foam Squares.
16. Adhere a row of lace under the Rocking Horse using double sided tape.
17. Alternate buttons and large pearls along the lace.
18. Glue Medium Pearls to the centre of each button.
