Appreciate What Is

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by!  I have had to slow down a little as I have fallen prey to the 'mid-season lurgy' - and not happy about it...but one of the things we do when we are under the weather is to slow down - even if it is just a little.  I have had a little time in The Studio, pottering and enjoying the process and this card is the outcome.

How soothing is this scene using the Spellbinders Lighthouse 3D Shading Stamps.  I have stamped the image using Imagine Memento Ink in London Fog, for a slightly softer look.  It has been coloured using Memento Inks and Sponge Daubers.  I do love to colour using the Daubers, they give such a great look - even when the colours are softer - like these.

The image has been cut.embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Scored and Pierced Rectangles Etched Dies using the  Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6" PlatformIt has been layered onto a slightly larger background using Scrapbook Adhesives BY 3L 3D Crafty Foam Tape, and then onto a navy card base using double sided tape.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts and has been stamped using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.
