Spellbinders Cut and Emboss Tutorial

Hello friends, thanks so much for stopping by.  I have a new tutorial to share for Spellbinders using one of the fabulous Cut and Emboss Folders - they are so elegant and so easy to use.  The possibilities really are endless and as always, there is not right or wrong.  I hope you are inspired by the way I have used the Flower Garden Cut and Emboss Folder

"Flower Garden Cut and Emboss Folder is an embossing folder with etched dies embedded inside to cut and emboss in one pass. Everything is done for you! Fits an A2-sized (4.25 x 5.5 in.) card front.
The sandwich to use with the Spellbinders Platinum Die Cutting Machine from bottom to top is: Platform Plate, Cut and Emboss Folder with card stock inside and one Cutting Plate"
- Spellbinders

1.Cut/emboss the Flower Garden Cut and Emboss Folder using white card stock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine - 6"
2. Cut/emboss the right edge of the card front using the Open Scallop from the A2 Curved Borders One Card Creator Etched Dies

3. Cut/emboss the right edge of the teal card stock using the paper pierced edge from the A2 Curved Borders One Card Creator Etched Dies,
4. Adhere under the card front with a small amount showing as shown in the photo above.

5. Adhere yellow and purple pieces of card stock over the back of the die cut flowers using double sided tape,
6. Cut/emboss the right edge of a yellow card base using the plain edge from the A2 Curved Borders One Card Creator Etched Dies.
7. Pop up the card front onto the die cut card base using 3D Foam Squares, with a small border showing as in the photo above.

8. Stamp three butterflies from the Hummingbird Stamp and Die Set onto white card stock using back ink.  Die cut using the co-ordinating die.
9. Colour the flowers using Chameleon Pens and glue to the card front - applying glue to the body and popping u the wings using small 3D Foam Squares to give a little dimension.
10. Adhere a small Turquoise Baby Bling to the centre of each butterfly, along with light amounts of liquid glue to the wings.
11. Adhere a computer generated sentiment to the top right of the card front.
