Mixed Media

  

There are so many different colouring mediums available to us in this creative world,  it is so much fun exploring....especially when it comes to colouring this fabulous Mixed Media image by Penny Black.

I love my Chalks/Pastels and Prismacolor Pencils but just lately I have been playing with some of the Tsukineko Memento Markers- and am LOVING them!

I have used the  Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine to cut the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares Nestabilities® and Decorative Labels Eight Nestabilities.  The Decorative Labels Eight has been sanded around the edges to add the impression of another layer - I love this effect!

The wonderful Swirls Finesse is by Want2Scrap.  Finishing off with some Seam Binding and a recycled vintage button.

Pink Princess

 

It is not that often that I use a whimsical image, but I do enjoy colouring them and creating a card with a different feel.  This La-La Land Crafts Princess Marci  image was coloured in at a Prismacolor Class that I taught.

 

 

 

 

The image has been cut out and embossed using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine  and the  Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight Nestabilities®.  The Die has been used as a Stencil before the image is removed.

 

 

 

A Seam Binding bow, KaiserCraft flower and a recycled button finish the card off.
