Valentines Heart

Hello friends - I have come to a realisation - I think I have a serious addiction - to the Drip Drop Die designed for Spellbinders by my dear friend Seth Apter of The Altered Page.  I have quite a few negative dies left from numerous Workshops and I cannot find enough ways to use it - LOL!  

You can find Seth's range for Spellbinders HERE.  Authentique Paper has been adhered behind the negative die - red to accentuate the hearts.  I have layered 3 Spellbinders Classic Hearts Die cuts, using Authentique Paper and adhered it to the centre of the negative Die - such a cool effect.  A Mulberry Paper Rose has been adhered to the centre of the layered hearts using liquid glue. A little foliage has been added underneath the heart.

The Drip Drop has been cut using white card stock which has been stamped using postmarks

Heartfelt Wishes

Hello Blog friends, I hope you are all keeping well - thank you again for all of your comments - it is lovely to see that so many of you have stopped by - I appreciate each visit!

I always love a card with a heart - especially when it is for someone we love - we are not limited to Valentines or other romantic occasions, they are perfect for any - in this case a birthday.

The base has been cut using the A2 Curved Matting Basics B Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator , the heart is created using the Lace Hearts Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® and Classic Heart Spellbinders® Nestabilities.  these Dies have been cut using the Grand Calibur Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.    I have also used  Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares for dimension ,and E-Z Runner on this card.    The beautiful Bling swirls are from Want2Scrap©

Filigree Heart with Bling

Using up left over craft supplies and extra Spellbinders Die cuts is always fun - and definitely make creating easy - and there are times we need it to be quick and easy - or is that just me??

 I have used the beautiful and elegant A2 Filigree Delight Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator designed by the lovely Becca Feeken - who I had the privilege of rooming with in Phoenix - don't worry Becca - what happened in Phoenix stays in Phoenix!! LOL

I have also layered the Classic Scalloped Heart and  Classic Heart Spellbinders® Nestabilities
Vines of Passion Spellbinders® Shapeabilities® Die D-Lites™.

The layered hearts have been topped using Want2Scrap bling.  Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L - 3D Foam Squares and E-Z Runner have been used on this card.

All Heart

It is Card Design Class tonight and we are creating this pretty card using Spellbinders Dies - it is no secret that I love my Dies and add to the equation Want2Scrap© bling - perfect!

I have used Classic Scalloped Heart and Classic Heart Spellbinders™ Nestabilities®, along with the newly released Vines of Passion Spellbinders™ Shapeabilities® Die D-Lites™.  All of my Dies have been cut using the Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Machine - I love it that all of these Dies can be cut at the same time with one run through the Grand Calibur.

A swirl from the B.Y.O.B. 1 Build your own Bling - Donna Salazar Design

has been added under the Paper Rose.  The leaves are from some artificial flowers that we had at home, but they are now all cut up and part of my supplies! LOL!  Nothing is safe here!

LOC The Greatest Love

I have been itching to get back to my Layers of Color stamps and the CCEE Stampers Challenge is the perfect opportunity- their challenge is all about hearts!!  How could I resist this gorgeous heart from the  Renaissance Hearts art stamp set that I have coloured with chalks and cut around the image popping it up onto an embossed panel (hearts again) with foam tape.

A light touch of Kindy Glitz has been added to just capture the light and give it some shimmer and silver pearls have been added to the corners and under the heart.

I have used this scripture that was sent to me in a RAK from my dear friend (and boss) Laura from Layers of Colour, this is actually a sticker and was great to use- thanks Laura - I loved using it and you can except some more scripture card with them on. 

I also added a strip of the gorgeous recycled lace, I think this is my favourite of all the laces I have used, it is so elegant.  I added the silver bling to the center of each flower on the lace, these have got a lovely aged shimmer to them and IRL have the card an 'antique' look.  Both the DP and the embossed panel have been distressed.

I love it then a card comes together easily and have always found that with Layers of Color - the stamps inspire me and that is what it is all about for me!

I have realised when linking this card to the CCEE Stampers that I left off the charm - oops - could I get away with it by calling this card 'charming' LOL!
