Keep Calm and Eat Cake

'Keep Calm and Eat Cake'- if only that would fix everything! LOL!  How gorgeous is this cake from the Luscious Layers stamp set from Flourishes,lc - it certainly looks good enough to eat!!

The images has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  It has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and  popped up onto the Spellbinders Nestabilities Romantic Rectangles Two Etched Dies using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.   The inside of the Romantic Rectangles Two has been stamped using the Jester-Diamond Background Stamp.

The computer generated sentiment has been popped up across the base of the cake stand and a double Seam Binding bow has been glued to the left of the sentiment.  A handmade butterfly embellishment has been sponged using Imagine Inks and glued onto the know of the bow.  Want2Scrap pink pearls have been adhered around the Romantic Rectangles frame and onto the body of the butterfly.

A card front has been cut/embossed using Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles Etched Dies Venise Lace by Becca Feeken and popped up onto a precut pink card base.  The layered image has been adhered to the card front using  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.

Flourishes,lc. - Baseball Boys 1

Hello friends,  I have a masculine card to share with you today - how lovely is this image called Baseball Boys 1 from  Flourishes lc.  It is not easy finding images for boys cards and I was thrilled with this one.

The images has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink and coloured using Chameleon Pens.  They have then been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and  popped up onto the Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames Die using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  

The Authentique Paper has been cut/embossed using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Celebrations Pierced Rectangles using the Platinum 6.  A narrow strip of co-ordinating paper has been adhered to the left side of the card front. This has all been layered onto a slightly larger card front.

The sentiment has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink, trimmed and backed using slightly larger Teal card stock.  This has been glued below  the layered images and a large brad added to the left side.  A small tab has been added to the left of the die cut and blue/white Bakers Twine tied around the top of the card front and secured with a bow.

Flourishes lc. Heartfelt Words

Hello friends,  I could not resist sharing a another pretty card with you using a sentiment from the Heartfelt Words stamp set from  Flourishes lc.  I love a good sentiment set - we really can never have too many of them - can we?!

The sentiment has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink, trimmed and layered into the heart from the My Funny Valentine stamp set.  The heart has been fussy cut/hand cut using scissors and coloured using Chameleon Pens. This been layered onto a card front that has been cut/embossed using the  Nestabilities Labels 46 - Decorative Element Etched Dies #2 (#1 being the smallest) and layered onto a card base created using Nestabilities Labels 46 - Decorative Element Etched Dies #3 using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  

A Red Mulberry Paper Rose has been glued to the right side of the sentiment that has been 'dove-tailed' at the opposite end. Chameleon Pens have been used to add soft colour around the card front and Want2Scrap white pearls are added to the centre of  the filigree patterns.

Flourishes lc - Luscious Layers

Hello friends,  today I am sharing a pretty card with you using the beautiful Luscious Layers stamp set from Flourishes lc.  - it certainly lives up to it's name!!  

The Luscious Layers image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink, then cut/embossed using a Standard Circles dies.   I have used the Die as a stencil and sponged inside the die using Imagine Memento Ink in Angel Pink ink.  The image has been coloured using using Chameleon Pens.

I have stamped and fussy cut the cake slice, coloured it and then adhered it to the right side of the cake - carefully lining up the icing lines. I love the way it transforms the cake - sure looks good enough to eat - such a versatile feature of this stamp set.

The  cake layer has been popped up a slightly larger Standard Circle in dark pink using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  The layers have then been popped up onto the Nestabilities Label 49 Decorative Elements Etched Dies, followed by a pre-cut light pink card base.

The sentiment has been stamped in Black ink, trimmed to size and layered onto pink card stock - this has been popped up onto the lower portion of the circle.

Flourishes, lc - A Mother's Hug Sentiment

Hello friends,  I could not resist sharing a another pretty card with you using the beautiful A Mother's Hug image from Flourishes lc.  This time a sentiment is  the focus - making it perfect for Mothers Day.  This set is available in Polymer Sets and Digital.

The A Mother's Hug sentiment has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock using black ink The letters have been highlighted using Chameleon Pens. This in turn has been cut/embossed using the Fleur de Elegance Etched Die #2 (#1 being the smallest) and layered onto the patterned card front  using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  This has all been layered onto a pre-cut card base,

Mulberry Paper Roses have been glued to the left side of the card along with a hand dyed double Seam Binding bow.  A button has been added to the bow center, along with a medium White pearl and some liquid glitter added around the button. The handmade butterfly embellishment has been coloured using Chameleon Pens andadhered to the right side of the sentiment and finishing off with  Want2Scrap white pearls.

Flourishes lc.- A Mothers Hug

Hello friends,  today I am sharing a pretty card with you using the beautiful A Mother's Hug image from Flourishes lc.  It is perfect for so many occasions - Mothers Day included.  This set is available in Polymer Sets and Digital.

The A Mother's Hug image has been stamped onto Flourishes Classic White card stock, onto the Perfectly Pierced Classic Frames Die Set, using black ink.  Stamping through the Die gives the ability to use a partial image. I have used the Die as a stencil and sponged inside the die using Imagine Delicata Golden Glitz ink.  The image has been coloured using using Chameleon Pens. This in turn has been layered onto the patterned card base using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.  

                           

I have stamped the Sentiment onto Flourishes lc Classic White card stock using black ink.  It has then been cut/embossed using a Circle Die, also using it as a stencil, sponging around the inside edges using Angel Pink Ink and a sponge dauber.  This has been popped up onto a larger pink circle and adhered to the top left corner of the card front.

The card front has been layered onto a filigree Diecut to create a beautiful frame using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares.   The layered card front is adhered to a pre-cut white card base.   A double bow and small Mulberry Paper Rose have been adhered to the front of the layered image, finishing off with some of the beautiful Want2Scrap white pearls.
