Sneak Peek Revealed.....

I have finally made my way across to show you one of my latest projects - I gave you a sneak peek yesterday and wanted to post this before the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge  is posted later today.and things get busy for us all!! LOL!   So without any more chatter from me...here is the project...I don't know about you but often when I am  looking around at some of the frames and giftware that is out in the boutiques lately I find myself thinking 'I could make that' but never seem to - so I decided it was time to have a try and this frame is the result!

I used Layers of Colours stamps, which are PERFECT for the look I was wanting.  I painted a wooden frame that was just sitting in a drawer and then used StazOn and Tim Holtz Distressing inks on it

The gorgeous flourish is from the Layers of Color art stamp set Nature Walk.  I have sponged the image with the distressing ink and then to added depths of colour.  French script has also been added to the frame with the Distressing Ink.

The smaller images are from the Layers of Color  art stamp set Old World Flourishes and all of those gorgeous butterflies from the Butterfly Collector art stamp set.

Once the frame was painted it was actually quicker to make this frame than some of the cards I have made.  I was not sure at first how I would go but once I got started I was 'hooked!'  I have another frame painted and ready to stamp with different images - I will be doing a tutorial when I do this one....and will let you know when it is happening.

Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comments - it is like having visits from friends.  I do appreciate you taking the time and your encouragement - thank you!  I look forward to hearing what you think of this project!  God bless you!

I really want to play with mine--I'm so busy with DTs it's hard to find play time with my "other" stamps! What I wouldn't give to come spend the day with YOU and learn all this great stuff! *Ü*
