I was so exited to be in the top three for the GingerLoft Challenge and part of that prize was to be a Guest designer for this week. This weeks theme is The Great Outdoors - what a great theme - we are headed into summer here in Australia and leaving scene like this behind for a while!
I just loved the image - how perfect is that tree - I coloured with my SU Chalks and it sprung to life so quickly and of course I just had to distress around the image with a pair of scissors,
I wanted to keep it relatively simple as the image is definitely the 'hero' on this card so I added three brads along the embossed strip of DP.
I am linking this ti the following challenges:
Dutch Dare - CAS
Lily of the Valley - Anything Goes
Sassy Studio Designs - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Crafty Calendar - Winter
Lets Ink It Up - Recycle It (Blue CS behind image)
One Stitch at a Time - Favoutrite Colours
Paper Sundaes - Punches, Ribbon, Embossing and the Colour Blue! - Use at least 2! Embossing and Blue
Crafty Catz - Paper Tearing
Thank you for stopping by today and for those lovely comments you leave me - you always make my day. We would love to see you pop over to GingerLoft and play along this week - it would be great to see you supporting this challenge - tell the girls I sent you!! LOL! I hope to see you there! God bless you!

Breath-taking!!! This is colored so beautifully, like an actual photograph. The distressed edges, the frame, and the metal 'thingies' give it a real vintage look. Fabulous.
