Giggle

This card was just begging to be made!  Some time ago I saw this Tim Holtz Image and could  not believe my eyes - I sent a link to My Mum and sister and we all agreed - it looks like me when I was little - how amazing is that!!

The next amazing thing was that someone sent me the image in a RAK - and it has been sitting in a pile of UFO's (unfinished objects) for over a year - until this week - all it took to get me creating was the right DP - and that had been sitting in a drawer of scraps for about the same amount of time.

An easel card worked well and the flowers are from different RAK's, along with the gorgeous vintage lace and button.

The flower is created using a combination of the Spellbinders Floral Doily Accent, misc flowers, a top from a Christmas Decoration and a pink pearl.  I have had the Christmas decoration parts for a couple of years and only just thought to use it this way - I really like the way it encompasses the pearl.

A closer look at the DIVINE lace!

I just had to show you that adorable image one more time!  LOL!  I know I am going to have to get this stamp set one day - I can think of so many ways to use it!  Just quietly, I had intended when I started making this, that it would be a Mother's Day card for my Mum, BUT I just cannot bring myself to part with it - it calls my name!  LOL!  Sorry Mum - how do you like Hallmark - LOL!  JOKING!  While we may laugh at that comment, my Mum actually reads my posts and I think I am in BIG TROUBLE!  LOL!  Love you MUM!!

This card is for the following challenges:
Gingerloft - Dies or Punches
Lets Ink It Up - Does it Punches
One Stitch at a Time - Mothers Day/Babies
Scrappy Frogs - Flowers and Lace
Sentiment Sundays - Cute and Cuddly
Craft Your Days Away - For Mum or a Special Lady
Creative Inspirations - Mothers Day/Mum
Paper Cutz - Your Choice
Simon Says Stamp - Mothers Day or Girlie

Thank you for looking and for all of the support you give me in so many ways!  As you can see I am having fun creating, trying to fill in the hours I would normally be online visiting YOU!  LOL!  I am hoping to be back visiting your Blog in another week or so - I cannot rush these things, especially when it comes to my eyes!!  I love your visits - my days would not be the same without you stopping by!  God bless you!
