Star Quality

Simple cards do not come easily to me, but I decided I would try one.  This fabulous Star and sentiment made it much easier for me - they are available at The Craft's Meow owned by the wonderful Lisa - they have some exciting things happening at the moment and you can read them further down the post.

I have to be honest and say that the DP made it easy - I love the bright vibrant colours.  I have added some texture with the Forest Branches Embossing Folder.

I stamped an extra star and used the Fiskar Star Punch, added some Bakers Twine and a button from my stash - I have so many buttons and I am determined to use them more - I love them layered onto something like this.

This is one of a few simple cards I have been creating - it is a challenge for me - but a challenge is always good for us - isn't it!  LOL! Speaking of challenges....

This card is for the following challenges:
Inspire Me Fridays - Anything Goes
Paper Cutz - Buttons and Bows
The Stamp Man - Embossing
Aud Sentiments Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Purple Frog - Texture and Ribbon

My dear friend Lisa and Design Team Sistah has just revealed the exciting news that Nina Brackett will be designing stamps for The Crafts Meow, and that Alice Wertz and Sarah Martina Parker will be joining TCM as kit designers. Yay!!!  Her blog The Craft's Meow also has a whole new look and you are going to want to check it out - if you haven't already!  every 100 fans by April 30th, she is giving away a set of the four new stamp sets that will be released on May 1st designed by Nina!  Who wouldn't love to win those - remember - you have to be in it to win it!!

Lisa has also created a Facebook Page  - for

Thsnk you for stopping in today and for the lovely comments you leave me - I love having visitors - you always make my day!  God bless you!
