This weeks Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge has come around quickly - don't you think!? It just seems to come around so quickly - not that I am complaining mind you - it is always one of my favourite challenges....
and this week is hosted by the aptly named Grace, who has chosen:
"These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
John 16:33
Grace has challenged us to create a card / project that either says "Blessings" or uses an encouraging Scripture
I have used the Layers of Color Christmas Blessings art stamp set - what could be better! The image has been coloured with SU Chalks/Pastels and cut out with the Spellbinders Labels One Nestibilitie using the Grand Calibur.
The embossing folder is from Tim Holtz - divine isn't it! Finishing off with some fringing from my local Craft Store and some gorgeous miniature roses - an easy card, as much as I love taking the time with details, there are times when we need a quick card - I love the vintage feel and the warmth the texture and sponging adds.
This card is created for the following challenges:
Just Some Lines - Fall(Autumn) Colours
4 Crafty Chicks -Fall/Autumn
Digi Doodle Shop's Best - Autumn Colours
Rainbow Lady's - White Space
Crafting for all Seasons - fall colors
I Brake For Challenges - Fall
Little Darlings Challenges - brown and red
Cards and More - Colour Challenge Red, Brown & Cream
