LOC FAF Blessing and Honor

It is my pleasure to be hosting Faith Art Friday at Layers of Color - this week I have a New Release image to share with you - more than one infact!  As soon as I saw the Angelic art stamp set the scripture in Revelations was brought to mind


And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne
and the beasts and the elders:

and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying,

Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever.  Revelations 5:11-13

What a powerful scene the scripture paints for us - it stirs my heart - Heaven is the most amazing place - in reality it is incomprehendible for the human mind, yet our spirits yearn for the eternal - that longing has been placed in there by God - it is not satisfied by anything the world has to offer - is it any wonder we long to be 'home where we belong'.
