LOC Blessings

I am back with another Christmas card to show you today - using the wonderful Layers of Color Christmas Verses art stamp set.


This set has so many wonderful verses and sentiments that are as lovely on the outside of a card as they are on the inside.


  I have  cut the sentiment with the Grand Calibur using the Spellbinders S4-110 Classic Oval LG and layered it onto the Fleur de Lis Die (thank you Bridget)


The dove is from the Angelic art stamp set and has been lightly coloured with SU Chalks/Pastels and had Kindy Glitz added for a touch of shimmer.  This has been added to a hand dyed Seam Binding bow.

A quick and easy card, amazing how a few layers gives such dimension - something I love on my cards!

Thank you for your comments and all of the support you give me - you make blogging such an amazing place to be!! Your encouragement is such a blessing for me - it makes my day and that has to be a good thing today - I have a house full of SICK PEOPLE - arghhh!  My three teenagers are sick with a NASTY Flu and my DH is coming down with it - as for me, I am disappearing to teach a class at my LSS - hopefully I am going to avoid getting it - at least you cannot catch it from me - can you?!? LOL! God bless you!

    Beautiful! I'm not usually a stripes person, but that DP is 'just right' for this and the dove adds the perfect touch to the center of the ribbon bow!

    Beautiful color combination and love that sentiment. Nice sparkle on the dove and the lovely addition of the pearl bling to the die. Another lovely Linda creation :)
