SSIC LOC Picture Perfect

Hello, it is lovely to see you!  Today is Sunday and with Sunday comes many thing, one of them being the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge - it was lovely seeing so many of you play along with us last week.

Our dear Sistah Traci is hosting this week and has chosen the following scripture to share:

And He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He [!] said, "Write, for these words are faithful and true." Rev 21:5

Traci's challenge is Let's use something new on our card/project this week. It can be a new stamp, paper, or embellishment...or even a new technique or an idea that is new to you! Just have fun with your creation!!

I have used Sweet Silhouettes and Beautiful Lace clear art stamp sets from the Layers of Color newest release, both sets are illutrated by the lovely Nina BrackettThe image has been cut using the Spellbinders Classic Oval LG Die

added a beautiful Wild Orchid Rose, the Spellbinders Foliage Die, that has been cute with the Spellbinders Grand Calibur.  Some vintage lace and Little Yellow Bicycle DP (left over from a Card Design Class I teach - I lurvvve using scraps and recycling as well as new things!)

A very easy and simple card, but I love the 'prettiness' of it - which surprises me a little as I am not that much of a 'pink' person...but things have been known to change! LOL!

This card is for the following challenges:
Crafty Emma -Vintage Dahling
Marks Finest Papers - Use Border Punches (SU Scalloped)
Card Makin' Mamas - New Year card or use Something New (lace)
Delicious Doodles – All Things New (lace)
Simply Create Too - More than 2 Layers
Do You Stack Up? - Inspiration Picture* Pink
Little Miss Muffet Challenges - Something New (lace)
Make it Monday - always Anything Goes

  16. I wouldn't be too sure about that, you look a bit like a pink person to me. I love the way you get such nice, crisp images with such detailed or solid stamps, two contrasts here, the silhouette image (a style that always gives me ink fits) and the lacy doily. They both look wonderful!
