Fleur de Lis in Blue

Today's card is created using the gorgeous background Stamp Wallpaper Print illustrated by Laura Kirste Campbell for Penny Black Inc.

I have stamped white card with Tsukineko Versamark and embossed using White Embossing Powder, then sponged using blue ink, adding some light and shade by varying the depth of the ink.

I have added this gorgeous Fleur de Lis by Want2Scrap - don't you just love the way it compliments the stamped background.

I have added black gems, also from Want2Scrap - Black Rhinestones I love the way they look good on masculine cards as well.

Finishing off with some Baker's Twine, black lace and a Fleur de Lis emblem that was sent to my in a RAK.

YOu can see two of Laura's cards using her divine Wallpaper Print by visiting her new website Laura Kirste

This card is for the following challenges:
Cooking It Up With Katie - Dad or special guy, Texture & Metal
Crafts and Me - anything goes
Scrapbook Sisters - diamond
Use It Tuesdays All About Dad  - used Bakers Twine and Embellishment I have had for over a year (**head hung in shame**)

  1. Linda this is a great card - the background pattern almost looks as though it is flocked wallpaper. Amazing.

  3. Wonderful! How cool that you have the same image (Fleur de Lis) in so many mediums to come together on this card!
I received my order of LOC stamps. Now that I see the lovely things Laura and Nina are doing for Penny Black, I'm going to have to start collecting those, too!
    You're a great sales woman, Linda! =))
    Hugs and Blessings!!
